  • Page 2: Installer options allow access to various settings by pressing the settings button for 3 seconds. To connect OpenTherm, remove existing cables and connect to terminals OT1 and OT2. Installer options 06 and 08 are not available when connected to an OpenTherm boiler. The menu can be navigated using the + and - buttons to select and save options. Frost protection activates heating if the temperature falls to 5°C, maintaining 7°C in OFF mode. Automatic pairing occurs when the receiver is powered and the thermostat has batteries inserted. Optimum start adjusts the thermostat setpoint early based on ambient temperature and scheduled events. Delayed start saves energy by delaying implementation of the setpoint if the ambient temperature is close. Valve protection time operates the valve for at least one minute each week to ensure maintenance. The Digistat will automatically start to control room temperature once installed.
  • Page 3: Installer options continued In the event of a sensor fault, central heating output is reduced to 30% by turning heating ON for 3 minutes, then OFF for 7 minutes. Select the central heating system energy type. When enabled, installers can lock the installer settings menu until a 3 digit code is entered. Reset the Digistat to its original factory settings. Note that resetting the thermostat will lose the pairing with the receiver. Enable or disable Service Interval Mode. Set date when next service is due. Select no. of days before service due date. Enable or disable the audible service due alarm. Change the 4 digit PIN.

In Auto Mode, the temperature can be temporarily changed using the + and – buttons until the next pre-programmed event. To add more time periods, press + when you see the SAVE option on-screen. To change from Automatic to Manual mode, go into settings and select Mode in the User menu. You have completed the quick start and the unit is now set correctly.
