Introduction
RT310 / RT310TX / RT310RF is a digital room thermosat used to control room temperature. Device
launching heating system by shorting terminal blocks, simultaneously informing the action and
showing this information on the LCD display. Before use please read this manual carefully. Use only
AA 1.5 V alkaline batteries in the thermostat. Place the batteries into the battery slot located under the
cover. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Note: If you are using the RT310RF pack, the pairing between the thermostat and the receiver
is already done.

What do the LCD icons mean on the Salus RT310TX?
Six icons appear on the display with different meanings.

What's the difference between TPI and Span mode on the Salus RT310TX?
TPI mode sets cycles per hour between 6CPH or 9CPH for comfort level. Span mode fixes temperature accuracy at 0.25°C. User Guide, p. 1
What does the low battery symbol mean on the Salus RT310TX display?
The low battery icon (number 4) indicates your AA alkaline batteries are running low. If ignored, the thermostat will shut down. After removing old batteries, wait 5 minutes before inserting new ones to prevent condenser discharge issues. User Guide, p. 2
Can I use rechargeable batteries in the Salus RT310TX, or what type should I use?
Use only AA 1.5 V alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. When changing batteries, you have 30 seconds to complete the swap before settings are lost. User Guide, p. 1
