The thermostat should be installed approximately 4 to 5 feet above the
floor. Select an area with average temperature and good air circulation.

Getting to know your thermostat

Align the 4 tabs on the subbase
with corresponding slots on the
back of the thermostat, then push
gently until the thermostat snaps
in place.

Why won't my PRO1 T731W PTAC thermostat connect to the base module?
Check that both devices are powered. Ensure the thermostat is within a few feet of the base module during pairing.
- Press and hold the light button on the thermostat for 3 seconds
- On the base module, press the button next to the LED
- The base module will double blink pink for 2 minutes while waiting for the remote to join
- Once paired, the LCD will temporarily display PAIRED
- Avoid placing either device near large metal objects, which degrade wireless range Installation Guide, p. 5
How do I know if my PRO1 T731W is paired with the base module?
The LCD will temporarily display PAIRED. The base module LED will show green blinks at 3-second intervals in normal operating mode. Installation Guide, p. 5
What's the difference between a green LED blink and a yellow LED blink on the base module?
