Z-Wave temperature and humidity reporting
This thermostat may be configured to report the actual room temperature in
a higher resolution than can be shown on the thermostat display. The default
temperature reporting resolution will be 1 °F or 1 °C. To change default temperature
reporting to a higher resolution, go to thermostat MENU/Z-WAVE SETUP/TEMP
REPORT. The temperature is reported by every displayed value change, and no later
than 2 hours from last report. The thermostat can be configured to report changes
in temperature less frequently. This is recommended to increase battery life when
the thermostat does not use a common wire (C wire). Available setting range is
0.5 °- 5 °F (0.5 ° - 3 °C).
NOTE: When higher temperature resolution reporting is set, you may experience
different resolution of temperature displayed on the thermostat and Z-Wave
controller.
Humidity Reporting
The thermostat can be configured to report changes in humidity less frequently.
This is recommended to increase battery life when the thermostat does not use a
common wire (C wire). Available setting range is 1% RH 5% RH (default 1% RH). To
access this setting, go to thermostat MENU/Z WAVE SETUP/HUM REPORT.
Z-Wave connection status
Z-Wave connection status is located in the upper-right corner
of the screen.
• Thermostat is included and connected to a Z-Wave
network.
• Flashing Icon. (TH6320ZW2007 model only.) Thermostat
is in the INCLUDE MODE using SmartStart. This occurs
after initial setup and time and date are set. Include mode
shown on page 9.

• Thermostat is excluded from a Z-Wave network.
• Thermostat is either included in a Z-Wave network but the Z-Wave signal
is lost, or is included but AC power is lost (battery used as backup). In this
case, Z-Wave radio is turned off to preserve battery life. AC power must be
restored or you have to change the power mode. It can be done via excluding
thermostat from Z-Wave network and including again in battery power mode
where batteries are used as main power source. You can check the actual
power mode in the thermostat MENU/DEVICE INFO.
Finding DSK and DSK Pin Code
The 5-digit DSK Pin Code can be found on the label on the back of the thermostat
and by selecting MENU then arrow right to "Z-WAVE SETUP", then right arrow to
"GET DSK CODE" and touching select. Full DSK can be found on the box of the ther-
mostat.
