Why won't my ESi ESRTP6C connect to Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi router security software may be blocking the connection.

• Try AP Configuration mode instead of normal setup

Yes. The Centro app connects directly to your thermostat, bypassing your router entirely. User Guide, p. 6

How do I connect ESi ESRTP6C, ESRTP6CW Centro Prog to my Wi-Fi network?

Create a Centro account, add your device in the app, set it into pairing mode, then enter your router password on the network screen.

1. Download the ESi Centro app and create an account with an email address and password.
2. Log in and tap the + icon to add a new device.
3. Select Room Thermostat, then choose RTP6 from the list.
4. Follow the app instructions to put your thermostat into pairing mode.
5. When the box scrolls on the display, tap the arrow icon in the app.
6. Type your router password into the lower box, case sensitive, toggle Remember password on, ensure Normal Config is selected, then tap the tick. User Guide, p. 3

How do I know if ESi ESRTP6C, ESRTP6CW Centro Prog has connected to Wi-Fi?
