Where are the DIL switches on the RET RET-230-HC-3?

The DIL switches are on the rear of the unit. Set them before re-fitting the thermostat to the wallplate during commissioning. User Manual, p. 6

How do I set the dead-band on the RET RET-230-HC-3?

The dead-band prevents overlap between heating and cooling. Use DIL switch 3 to select either 2°C/4°F or 4°C/8°F before commissioning. User Manual, p. 4
