How do I set up the ESi ESRTP4RFW when the RF connection is lost?

Follow the pairing steps to restore RF communication between thermostat and receiver.

1. Power up the receiver and hold HEATING button for about 10 seconds until the MANUAL OVERRIDE light flashes green.
2. On the ESi ESRTP4RFW, tap MODE to select OFF (*).
3. Press and hold ALL DAY, HOLIDAY and + buttons until the display shows SAVING and the receiver's green light stops flashing.
4. If pairing fails, repeat steps 2-3. If still unsuccessful, isolate receiver power for 10 minutes, then repeat all steps. Installation Guide, p. 9

What is the ideal mounting height for the ESi ESRTP4RFW?

Can I mount the ESi ESRTP4RFW on an outside wall or near a radiator?

No. Do not position it near heat sources like radiators, lights, TVs, direct sunlight or on an outside wall. Place it in a location that is reasonably lit and free from temperature extremes and draughts. Installation Guide, p. 8

Why is my ESi ESRTP4RFW heating not responding to commands?

Check the RF receiver lights for these conditions.

• Flashing red and green lights mean the bond between receiver and thermostat has been lost. Isolate power to the RF receiver for 10 minutes, then re-pair.
• Solid red and green lights mean manual override is active. Press the HEATING button, then the MANUAL OVERRIDE button to turn both off.
• Solid green light only means manual override is on but heating is off. Press the MANUAL OVERRIDE button to restore normal operation. Installation Guide, p. 16
