DEVIreg 330 Electronic Thermostat Installation Guide Overview
Summary of Contents
- Page 1: Installation guide for DEVIreg™ 330 electronic thermostat. Operating temperature range is +5 to +45°C.
- Page 2: DEVIreg™ 330 is an electronic thermostat to be installed in electric cabinets with DIN rail attachment. The thermostat must be installed via an all-pole disconnection switch. Either a floor sensor or an external room sensor must be used to measure and control the desired temperature. The thermostat has a button to adjust the temperature setting with a scale from +5 to +45°C. An LED indicator shows standby periods (green light) and heating periods (red light).
- Page 3: DEVIreg™ 330 specifications include operation voltage of 220-240 V~, 50 Hz. The standby power consumption is a maximum of 0.25 W. The relay supports a resistive load and an inductive load with a maximum of 16 A / 3680 W @ 230 V. The sensing unit is an NTC 15 kOhm at 25 °C. Ambient temperature ranges from 10 °C to +50 °C. The temperature range for operation is +5 °C to +45 °C. The storage temperature is between -20 °C to +65 °C. The device has an IP class of 20. The installation guide provides further instructions.
- Page 4: DEVIreg™ 330 operates within a temperature range of +5 to +45°C. The product has a protection class of Class II. Dimensions are 86 x 36 x 58 mm and it weighs 83 g. It complies with the EN/IEC Standard for automatic electrical controls for household and similar use, specifically EN/IEC 60730-1 and EN/IEC 60730-2-9. Ensure the mains supply to the thermostat is turned off before installation. When controlling a floor heating element with a wooden floor, always use a floor sensor and do not set the maximum floor temperature above 35°C. Installation must be performed by an authorized and qualified installer according to local regulations. The thermostat should be connected to a power supply via an all-pole disconnection switch. The sensor is considered live voltage, which must be taken into account if extending the sensor.
- Page 5: DEVIreg™ 330 operates within a temperature range of +5 to +45°C. Always connect the thermostat to continuous power supply. Do not expose the thermostat to moisture, water, dust, and excessive heat. Install the thermostat in an electric cabinet with DIN rail attachment or a separate DIN attachment according to local regulation on IP classes. Do not place the thermostat in a way that it will be exposed to direct sunlight. Click the thermostat on to the DIN rail attachment. Connect the thermostat according to the connection diagram.
- Page 6: DEVIreg™ 330 operates within a temperature range of +5 to +45°C. The screen of the heating cable must be connected to the earth conductor of the power supply cable using a separate connector. When using the wire sensor for floor heating, always install the sensor in a conduit. Turn on the power supply. Installation guide.
- Page 7: DEVIreg™ 330 operates within a temperature range of +5 to +45°C. If a floor sensor is used, the floor temperature is measured where the sensor is placed. The temperature of the bottom of a wooden floor can be up to 10 degrees higher than the top. Floor manufacturers often specify the maximum temperature on the top surface of the floor, usually 27-28˚C. Always use a floor sensor to control floor heating for accurate temperature control. Without a floor sensor, the temperature control may be less accurate, risking overheating the floor. Approximate settings for 25˚C floor resistance vary based on flooring type. Max carpet thickness suitable for floor heating is specified according to EN 1307. Installation guide is provided for proper setup.
