Where is the sensor installed on the DEVI DEVIreg 316?

Can I use the DEVI DEVIreg 316 with snow and ice melting systems?
Yes. Adjust the minimum temperature limiter to set an upper range of -10°C to +50°C and a lower range of -10°C to +5°C, then connect terminals 9 and 10. Installation Guide, p. 8
How long does the DEVI DEVIreg battery last?
The thermostat runs on mains power (220-240V~, 50Hz) and has no battery. Installation Guide, p. 4
What must be done with the WARRANTY CERTIFICATE for the DEVI DEVIreg 316?
