Carrier Wi-Fi Enabled 24V Smart Thermostat Instruction Manual
Control will be based on a setpoint (which will trigger the acꢀvaꢀon of the funcꢀon) and a hardcoded
hysteresis of 5% below the setpoint. If dehumidifier with fan opꢀon is selected, the dehumidifier will
only be acꢀvated when the fan is running, regardless of the dehumidifier setpoint.
INSTALLATION

UNIT DAMAGE HAZARD
Failure to follow the recommended wiring pracꢀces could result in damage to the wall control and
personal property. Improper wiring or installaꢀon may damage the thermostat. Check to make sure
wiring is correct before proceeding with installaꢀon or turning on power.
Installaꢀon Notes:
No part of the Thermostat should be installed directly outdoors or in a cabinet outdoors.
Never remove the thermostat board from the plasꢀc housing. Doing so could warp and damage
the components on the board.
The mounꢀng plate should be mounted to the wall before wires are aꢁached.
During thermostat installaꢀon, provide sufficient excess wiring behind the mounꢀng plate. Coil
the wiring, creaꢀng a service loop, and place in mounꢀng box or behind the wall to remove
strain against the terminal strip.

Thermostat Locaꢀon
Thermostat should be mounted:
Approximately 5 ꢂ (1.5m) from floor.
Close to or in a frequently used room, preferably on an inside parꢀꢀoning wall.
On a secꢀon of wall without pipes or duct work.
