How do I install the Honeywell RTH2510 on the wall?
Mount the wallplate using the included screws and anchors.
- Drill 3/16-in. holes for drywall or 3/32-in. holes for plaster.
- Secure the wallplate with screws and anchors.
- Connect wires by matching labels to thermostat terminals.
- Install two AAA alkaline batteries on the back.
- Set the fan operation switch for your heating system type.

What is the difference between Temporary and Hold overrides on the Honeywell RTH2510?
Temporary maintains a new temperature until the next scheduled period begins. Hold disables the program and maintains your set temperature 24 hours daily until you change it.
