Inserting / replacing batteries

If needed, clean the battery and the contacts before using  

them. Keep the batteries away from children. When getting in  

touch with battery acid instantly irrigate the affected parts with  

clear water and call a doctor.  

Basic operating modes

In the MANU-mode Comet Plus adjusts to the manually specifi  

ed temperature.

The Eurotronic programming port is intended ONLY for our  

Eurotronic programming stick. Never connect other devices  

with the programming port!  

Setting heating and economy times

With Comet Plus it is possible to set 4 heating and 4 economy  

times per day – one for each day or one for a block of several  

days. TAG1 to TAG7 represent the weekdays from Monday to  

Sunday. Additionally, the corresponding days are shown as  

abbreviation below the menu bar on the display.

Mounting

water spots because the heating circuit is not interrupted.

• Page 2: Calcification protection function To prevent radiator valves from calcifying, Comet Plus is submitted to a calcification protection programme once a week on Friday mornings. Environmental protection Electrical and electronic devices as well as batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. The customer is legally obliged to return electrical and electronic equipment and batteries at the end of their service life to public collection points. Timer function The timer function allows a user-defined temperature for a programmable period to be entered. Cleaning To clean the Comet Plus, use only a dry or lightly wet cloth. Avoid chemical solvents as they can damage the device. Guarantee The three-year warranty begins on the day of purchase. Please keep the receipt as evidence of purchase. Travel function For the time you are absent, you can select an individual temperature. After this period, the originally defined programme becomes active again. Child lock You can lock Comet Plus to protect the device from unauthorized activation. Freeze protection function If the temperature drops below 6°C, Comet Plus opens the valve until the temperature rises above 8°C to prevent the radiators from freezing. Daylight saving time SPARmatic comet switches automatically from summer to winter time. Used devices Do not throw old devices and packaging into household waste. They can be recycled.
