2. Click ‘Next’ to conꢀnue to idenꢀfy stage configuraꢀon, connect an accessory and verify wiring
configuraꢀon.
Factory & Custom Seꢁngs
Once you confirm your HVAC system configuraꢀon, please select whether you would like to enable
Factory or Custom seꢃngs for the smart thermostat.
Factory seꢃngs will leave all seꢃngs at default.
Custom seꢃngs will allow you to modify any of the advanced seꢃngs in your thermostat
exclusively through the Service Technician App.
Please Note: Advanced Seꢃngs include Stage Seꢃngs, Cycle Seꢃngs, Lockout/Offset Seꢃngs, Minimum
& Maximum Setpoints, Fan Seꢃngs, Accessory Seꢃngs (if applicable) and Overcool to Dehumidify
preferences.
Click ‘Next’ to proceed to opꢀonal Tesꢀng.
Test Equipment Funcꢀonality
On the iniꢀal tesꢀng screen you have the opꢀon to perform heat and cool tests. You can also skip tesꢀng
altogether if weather condiꢀons do not call for proper tesꢀng at ꢀme of install.
To iniꢀate tesꢀng select ‘Start Test’ and the thermostat will go into ‘Cool’ mode and begin blinking blue.
At this ꢀme you will need to locate yourself by a air vent in the home and confirm cold air is blowing out.
If so, select ‘Everything is working properly’ and the test will automaꢀcally stop.
Please Note: You will be able to verify you ran the test successfully by the green check mark located next
to the corresponding stage test.
Please Note: Follow the same instrucꢀons as above for corresponding equipment tesꢀng you would like
to do on the HVAC system.
