Cycle rates can be increased or decreased in increments of 0.5 and will be inversely proporꢀonal to the
MRT and MOT of reference of that system. For example, for a Standard Gas system if cycle rates is
increased to 6, MRT = 5.83, MOT = 4.17.
If the user adjusts the setpoint to trigger a heaꢀng or cooling call the MOT cycle would be canceled and
the call would start immediately unless the system is an AC/HP in which case a minimum 5min MOT will
be enforced. This 5min MOT for AC/HP will also be applied upon power up.
Heat/Cool Setpoints (Desired Temperature)
A minimum difference of 3° and maximum of 15° is enforced between heaꢀng and cooling desired
temperatures.
Equipment On Indicators
When cooling equipment is on the Cooling icon will illuminate when the display is acꢀve. The perimeter
lighꢀng will glow blue if cooling is acꢀve. This could occur in cooling or auto mode depending on
setpoint.
When heaꢀng equipment is on the Heaꢀng icon will illuminate when the display is acꢀve. The perimeter
lighꢀng will glow orange if heaꢀng is acꢀve. This could occur in the heaꢀng or auto mode depending on
the setpoint.
When emergency heaꢀng equipment is on the Emergency Heaꢀng icon will illuminate when the display
is acꢀve. The perimeter lighꢀng will glow orange if heaꢀng is acꢀve. This could occur in the heaꢀng or
auto mode depending on the setpoint.
When fan recirculaꢀon is acꢀve the fan recirculaꢀon icon will illuminate when the display is acꢀve. The
perimeter lighꢀng will glow green if fan recirculaꢀon mode is acꢀve, with operaꢀon mode is inacꢀve.
When OpenADR is acꢀve the OpenADR icon will illuminate when the display is acꢀve. The perimeter
lighꢀng will glow yellow is OpenADR is acꢀve.
Please Note: If a call is pending but the system is not ready to run due to minimum off ꢀme, the
corresponding mode icon will blink at a rate of 0.5s unꢀl it is ready to run at which point it will stay solid
on.
Programmable Fan
The fan output can be programmed based on period of the day. When programming for each day and
period the fan can be set to On, AUTO, or Circulaꢀon. If the fan buꢁon is pressed to change from On to
Auto, Circulaꢀon, or vice versa when programmable fan has been enabled the manual change will only
remain in effect unꢀl the next program period when the programmable fan seꢃng will be changed per
the scheduled seꢃng. Fan circulaꢀon mode will turn on the fan for 33% of the ꢀme using 1h
cycles, which includes the ꢀme that the fan is on due to an acꢀve heaꢀng or cooling call.
Schedule and Overrides
The schedule can be set up for each day of the week independently, with up to 5 different transiꢀons per
day using the mobile app. There is no backup schedule within the physical thermostat. Internet
connecꢀon/service is required to establish back the schedule. Local ꢀme is not stored in thermostat and
therefore the schedule will not be followed upon a POR and will require reconnecꢀon to the internet for
proper ꢀming. If internet connecꢀon is lost but there is no loss of power, thermostat will conꢀnue
following the schedules even if there could be some driꢂ in the ꢀme.
You can override schedule from the thermostat or mobile app. Schedule will resume aꢂer 4hrs if done
through the thermostat unless a different ꢀme is set from the App. Overrides can be iniꢀated both
through the thermostat and App but duraꢀon can only be configured through the App with duraꢀons of
1‐23 hours, or the opꢀon of the override duraꢀon to be unꢀl the next schedule transiꢀon, or a
permanent override.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the display doesn’t power up aꢂer power is applied, check the Rc/Rh and C terminals for 24VAC. The
display will not power up if polarity is reversed.
Reset
There are 2 different resets available for the thermostat:
Factory reset will restore all seꢃngs and operaꢀon to original out of the box seꢃngs. This
includes Wi‐Fi, BLE, MATTER, and HVAC System type setup.
Network reset will restore default Wi‐Fi, BLE, and MATTER only. HVAC seꢃngs, including HVAC
System type are not changed.
To perform a reset of the thermostat perform the following steps:
1. Press Fan + mode keys simultaneously for 10s. This will access the reset menu.
2. Use Arrow Up/Down to select the reset type
a. nr ‐ Network reset
b. Fr ‐ Factory reset.
3. If performing a Network Reset (nr) confirm the selecꢀon of network reset opꢀon with single
press of fan buꢁon.
