- Page 11: Palma Twin operating instructions provide guidance on the use of the recirculating air heater. The Palma Twin is equipped with a thermostat switch and a selector switch. The selection switch allows for three possible operating modes: recirculation, 750 W heat output, and 1.5 kW heat output. The modes include unit not in operation, circulating air without heating, and heating capacities controlled by the thermostat. Heating options are available at 750 W and 1.5 kW, both with continuous recirculation.
- Page 12: Palma Twin operating instructions. Using the Palma Twin in recirculation mode. Select position Recirculation as the mode. In this mode, there is no heating. Plug the Palma Twin directly into the mains socket for continuous operation. During summer, recirculation mode helps reduce temperature in the greenhouse. Open the door or skylight of your greenhouse in this operating mode. The thermostat switch position is irrelevant in recirculation mode. Greenhouse air heated by the sun is circulated and transported outside. This regulates humidity and promotes pollination of your plants.
- Page 13: Palma Twin operating instructions provide guidance on using the heating mode. The 750 W heating mode is activated by setting the right selection switch to the appropriate symbol. Temperature regulation is done using the left-hand temperature switch. A thermometer can be used to determine the room temperature if there is no digital display. Adjust the thermostat switch to reach the desired room temperature. The switch-off point indicates the maximum temperature the heating will reach, indicated by a red signal light. If the thermostat is set below the switch-off point, the heater will not operate. The fan heater activates when the room temperature falls below the set level. Temperature discrepancies may require slight adjustments due to the bimetal thermostat's measuring tolerance. It is not possible to attach a temperature scale to the thermostat switch due to varying greenhouse conditions.
- Page 14: Palma Twin operating instructions provide guidance on using the heating mode. To heat a room or greenhouse, select the 1.5 kW heating mode using the right-hand selection switch. Temperature regulation is done with the left-hand temperature switch. If there is no digital temperature display, use a thermometer to check the room temperature. Adjust the thermostat switch to reach the desired temperature. The switch-off point indicates when the heating stops, marked by a red signal light. The fan heater activates when the room temperature drops below the set level. Temperature discrepancies may require slight adjustments due to the bimetal thermostat's tolerance. A temperature scale cannot be printed on the thermostat switch due to varying greenhouse conditions. The illustration shows the Palma Twin set to 1.5 kW heating on level 8.
- Page 15: Palma Twin Operating Instructions Safety features Temperature controlled circuit breaker: If the device overheats, the temperature-controlled circuit breaker will switch the device off temporarily. To switch the device back on, turn the heater off for 5 to 10 minutes to cool down. Another reason for the shutdown would be blockage of the intake or outlet opening. In this case, please remove the corresponding objects. It could also be an indication that the ventilator has failed. Warning! The casing heats up during operation. Install in such a way that accidental contact is avoided. The device only cools slowly after it is switched off. Only transport it using the carrying handle that is designed for this purpose. Do not touch the surface of the heater.
