- Page 1: Introduction Heatit WiFi thermostat is an electronic thermostat for electrical underfloor heating. The thermostat has a simple user interface and can be easily programmed via the capacitive buttons. The color screen displays an accessible user interface. The thermostat has a built-in WiFi chip that allows you to control it from a user-friendly app. Installation Installation must be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with the national building codes. Before installation, disconnect any power to the device mains. During installation of the device, power to the device must be disconnected at all times. The thermostat is designed for electrical heating and can withstand a load of max 16A/3600W at 230VAC. It may be connected to an external sensor.
- Page 2: Wires must be stripped 9-10mm. Wires can be released by pressing the connector’s release switch. Floor sensor must be placed into a protective tube when used in concrete. Make sure there is no water in the tube. Position the thermostat and fasten it onto the wall mounting box using 2-4 screws. The thermostat is controlled by three touch sensitive buttons: Left (Up), Center (Confirm), Right (Down). Each button has its own background light. After connecting the power to the thermostat for the first time or after performing a factory reset, the startup wizard will prompt questions regarding language, timezone, and date & time. If the thermostat is not touched for a while, it will automatically go to standby screen. In the main screen, pressing the center button will access the main menu. Gradual heating will raise the temperature slowly over the course of 20 days.
- Page 3: Operation modes include Home, Away, Weekly schedule, Anti-frost, and Power regulation. The thermostat allows for preset temperatures while at home or away, which can be changed and automatically saved. Adaptivity enables the thermostat to proactively start/stop heating to reach the set temperature at the designated time. The Anti-frost mode lowers the setpoint to 7 degrees to prevent frost damage. WiFi settings allow connection to the cloud through a phone application, requiring PIN codes for setup. Users can create customized daily schedules with up to five setpoints per day to optimize energy consumption and comfort. Thermostats can be added to zones, allowing multiple thermostats to be controlled simultaneously. In a zone with multiple thermostats, local changes to one thermostat will enter custom settings mode, preventing updates from the zone. Advanced settings are intended for expert users and may risk damage to the heating system if used incorrectly. The phone application is available on both App Store and Play Store for managing thermostat settings.
