• Page 2: Roth Minishunt is designed for supplying one or two underfloor heating circuits in a room. The shunt can be connected out in the installation like a radiator and can be supplied with a Duo distributor for connecting two circuits. It is suitable for both 1- and 2-pipe systems and has a temperature limitation of 45°C. For installation instructions for wireless control, see separate instructions. The components of Roth Minishunt include a valve for the thermostat or actuator, a circulation pump, an air vent, and primary and secondary flow and return connections. When installing two circuits, they should always be of equal length.
• Page 3: Installation requirements for Roth Minishunt include the following points: Minishunt must be installed in a horizontal position. Ensure a differential pressure of at least 15 kPa and a maximum of 50 kPa. The water temperature on the supply side should be at least 15°C higher than the floor heating circuit. Always flush the existing installation before installing the minishunt. Joints in the heating system should be visible or accessible. When installing in built-in spaces or cabinets, they must have a waterproof base of at least 50mm, a service hatch, and indication for quick leak detection. The service hatch should not be placed in wet zone 1.

• Page 6: Installation of minishunt for 1- or 2-pipe systems. Factory setting is for 2-pipe systems. Primary temperature should be at normal levels (55 - 60°C). Floor temperature should be approximately 20°C. Wait for 10 minutes. Supply temperature should be 30 - 35°C for concrete floors and 40 - 45°C for lighter floor constructions. Check the supply temperature on the floor heating circuit. Adjust the water flow on the primary side if the temperature is too high or low. Use the included key to adjust; turning clockwise reduces the temperature. By-pass valve settings vary for 1-pipe and 2-pipe systems.
