To standby, the heat is not being regulated, but the clock is running and the programming is saved in the memory.
- Page 2: Basic settings To be able to use all the functions you need to set the time and date first. Navigate to the correct time. The correct day of the week is set automatically. TAP16R can control the temperature in three different ways: with the external sensor, room sensor, or the room sensor and external sensor in combination. If the external sensor is connected when the thermostat is switched on for the first time, this function is selected automatically. The room sensor cannot be selected when the external sensor is connected. For the room sensor and external sensor in combination, the built-in sensor controls the room temperature and the external sensor works as a temperature limiter. You can always see the current temperature by following the description above.
- Page 3: Energy saving programs help adapt heating to actual needs and reduce energy use when not needed. There are four program options: frost protection, preset for office environments, preset for home environments, and the ability to program personal settings. You can program time and temperature for four events each day: wakeup, out, home, and night. Wakeup can be set to 23 °C at 07:30, out can be set to 17 °C at 09:30, home can be set to 21.5 °C at 17:00, and night can be set to 18 °C at 22:30. You can choose to program for a whole week or a single day. To program personal settings, navigate to the time and temperature for each event, confirm, and repeat. It is important to start the program after setting it up.
