How do I run the test program on this thermostat?

Start the test program from Quickstart or Parameter Settings.

Navigate to Test program in Parameter Settings.
Select YES.
The program runs for 30 minutes, ignoring all parameters to check the heating cable and connection.
Stop it at any time by navigating away. Instruction Manual, p. 3

What's the difference between AMBIENT and LINE mode on the nVent Elexant?

Mode	Operation
AMBIENT	Measures outside temperature; operates heating cable via internally calculated duty cycle for energy efficiency.
LINE	Measures pipe or line temperature; Sensor 1 controls heating circuit 1, Sensor 2 controls heating circuit 2.

Can I use the nVent Elexant with just one sensor connected?

Yes. At least one sensor must be connected; if neither is, the Quickstart stops until you connect one. Instruction Manual, p. 3

What do error codes E:2.1, E:2.2, E:2.3 and E:2.4 mean on nVent Elexant?

E:2.1	SENSOR_1_OPEN: Check sensor connection
E:2.2	SENSOR_1_SHORT: Check sensor and replace it
E:2.3	SENSOR_2_OPEN: Check sensor connection

How do I restore nVent Elexant to factory default settings?

Factory defaults reset the thermostat to original configuration.

Factory settings include Language: English, Country: None, Date: 01/01/2018, Time: 00:00
Pipe diameter returns to DN 25, insulation thickness to 30 mm
SET temperature resets to +3°C, minimum ambient temperature to -15°C
Low temperature alarm sets to 0°C, high temperature alarm to +65°C
