Start-up
To make installation easier, you can remove the
batteries from the battery compartment (C) and
press the button in the battery compartment
permanently while turning the metal nut onto the
heating valve (see fig. 9). By pressing the button,
the rotating mechanism of the radiator thermostat
is blocked and the desired orientation of the
display is easier to achieve.
If required, you can use one of the supplied
adapters for Danfoss valves (see “5.2.4 Adapter for
Danfoss” on page 50) or the supplied support
ring (see “5.2.1 Removing the thermostat” on
page 47).
5.2.3 Support ring
The valves from different manufacturers may have tol-
erance fluctuations that make the radiator thermostat
more loosely seated on the valve. In this case, the provid-
ed support ring should be placed into the flange before
mounting the device (see fig. 10). You can then mount the
radiator thermostat again as described above.
