How do I pair the Homematic IP HmIP-BWTH-A with a Floor Heating Actuator?
Both devices must enter pairing mode first, indicated by orange LED flashing.
- Select the required channel on the floor heating actuator and activate pairing mode with a long button press.
- Press and hold the system button (D) on the wall thermostat for at least 4 seconds.
- Wait for the device LED (D) to light up green, confirming successful pairing. Installation Guide, p. 61
How do I install the Homematic IP HmIP-BWTH-A in my heating system?
Connect the wires to the voltage supply unit terminals, mount it in the flush box, then attach the frame and electronic unit.
- Switch off the fuse of the power circuit.
- Remove the cover and release the wiring from the existing thermostat.
- Connect the phase conductor to terminal L (G), neutral to N (H), and valve drive to terminal 1 (I).
- Place the voltage supply unit (F) in the flush-mounted box and secure with supply screws.
- Install the supplied clip-on frame (A) and frame on the voltage supply unit.
