7. CONNECTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE THERMOSTATS AND THE
RECEIVER UNIT
ATTENTION! Make sure that the COMPUTHERM E800RF thermostat and the apparatus to be
controlled are de-energized while putting them into operation. The device should be installed
and put into operation by a competent person! If you do not possess the necessary skills and
qualifications, please get in touch with an authorized service!
CAUTION! The modification of the device poses a risk of electric shock or breakdown!
ATTENTION! We recommend that you install the heating system that you want to control with the
COMPUTHERM E800RF multi-zone thermostat in such a way that the heating liquid can circulate in the
closed position of all zone valves in case that one of the circulation pump is switched on. This can be
achieved with a permanently open heating circuit or by installing a by-pass valve.
7.1. Putting the thermostat into operation
Connect the front of the thermostat to its holder, then connect the USB-C power cable to the back of
the holder. Then connect the other end of the USB cable to the adapter included in the package and
connect it to the 230 V mains. (Figure 3)
