UPDATING THE DIN-3-W FIRMWARE
DIN-3-W firmware is automatically updated overnight when a
new version is available. However, if the wifi router is switched
off at 01:00 at night or for any other reason the DIN-3-W does
not receive the automatic update, the user can manually
request a new firmware version.
• If the DIN-3-W is not connected to the internet, set the wifi SSID
and password in the phone app so that the device can connect to
the 2.4GHz wifi network.
• Press and hold the DIN-3-W button
• The light will turn white and starts flashing slowly after
approx. 4s
• Keep the button pressed for about 14s until the light stays
white
• Release the button
• If newer software is found, the light will remain white for the
duration of the download and installation (tens of seconds). The
software will then restart and after a while the light will follow the
selected mode of operation.
• You can check the software version of your device from the phone
app Info page.
