Honeywell TH5220D1003 thermostat wiring for gas

WARNING
1. Disconnect power supply before making wiring connections
to prevent electrical shock and equipment damage.
2. All units must be wired strictly in accordance with wiring
diagram furnished with the unit. Any wiring different from
the wiring diagram could result in a hazard to persons and
property.
3. All wiring must be done with a wiring material having a
temperature rating of at least 105°C.

Installation and Wiring
Installation of wiring must conform with local building codes,
or in the absence of local codes of the National Electric Code
ANSI/NFPA 70 - Latest Edition. Unit must be electrically
grounded in conformance to this code. In Canada, wiring must
comply with CSA C22.1, Part 1, Electrical Code.

- Page 2: Programming mode allows entry into thermostat setup. To enter setup mode, press and hold the s and FAN buttons until the display changes. Use the s and t buttons to change settings, the NEXT button to advance, and the DONE button to save and exit. Refer to Table 2.1 for typical thermostat function settings for gas fired unit heaters and duct furnaces. Consult the factory for deviations to wiring diagrams. Refer to vendor literature for additional information on the thermostat. Typical settings include single stage heat only with fan and various configurations for gas or oil furnaces. Cooling functions and temperature range stops are also specified. Default values can be adjusted within specified ranges. Refer to Honeywell instructions for more information and additional setting options.
