DO NOT pour water into the room thermostat.
This product is equipped with electrical parts. If
poured, it will cause a serious electrical shock.
3. INSTALLATION
•
DO NOT perform installaꢀon work and
electrical wiring connecꢀon by yourself.
Contact your Hitachi distributor or dealer and
ask them for installaꢀon work and electrical
wiring by a service person.
DO NOT install the product in places where oil
vapour or oil are dispersed, in the vicinity of
hot springs (in a sulfuric environment), where
the generaꢀon, flow, accumulaꢀon or leakage
of flammable gas is detected, or in salty, acid
or alkaline environments.
DO NOT install the controller and its cables
within approximately 3 meters from strong
electromagneꢀc wave radiators such
as medical equipment. In case that the
controller is installed in a place where there
is electromagneꢀc wave radiaꢀon, shield the
controller and cables by covering them with
a steel box and running the cable through a
metal conduit tube.
Read this installaꢀon guide and the
safety instrucꢀons carefully before
starꢀng installaꢀon of this product.
All the instrucꢀons given must be
followed closely and this guide must be
stored in a safe place throughout the
service life of your product.

specified field of applicaꢀon is forbidden.
This invalidates the warranty and excludes
all liability, as does any failure to comply
with the instrucꢀons given herein.

The product can be switched off completely by
disconnecꢀng the power plug.
3.1 Installaꢀon procedure
ꢀ
NOTE
This room thermostat is prepared to
be table stand. Fit the thermostat by
mounꢀng it directly on top of the table
stand.

The installer and system specialist shall comply
with local regulaꢀons or standards for safety.
The following standards may be applicable, if
local regulaꢀons are not in force: Internaꢀonal
Organizaꢀon for Standardizaꢀon, ISO5149 or
European Standard, EN378 or Japan Standard,
KHKS0010.
3.2 Binding procedure
The room thermostat (ATW-RTU-12) has
to be used with the ATW-IOT-01 receiver.
•
This appliance must be used only by adult and
capable people, having received the technical
informaꢀon or instrucꢀons to handle it
properly and safely.
Binding procedure with ATW-IOT-01
receiver can be done by means of CSNET
Home App or by means of push buꢁons.
Please consult the documentaꢀon
provided via the QR located on the front
cover for more details.

Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
