With Danfoss A-labelled thermostats, you will reduce your energy consumption, save money, and lower your environmental impact. Choose the most energy-efficient solutions for your home and get the highest level of comfort at the same time. You will reduce your heating bill up to 8% by replacing your radiator thermostats (older than 15 years) with A-labelled Danfoss thermostats.
  • Page 2: The thermostat maintains a constant temperature in your room. Set your preferred room temperature according to the table below and that’s it. The thermostat will open and close depending on the heat demand thereby utilizing the free heat from sunlight, appliances and people. Free heat saves energy. Sunlight, kitchen appliances and electric light give off free heat. The thermostat registers such free heat by automatically closing down. Please do not cover the thermostat. The thermostat must be able to register the temperature of the room. If you leave your home for a longer period of time, you can safely turn the thermostat to frost protection. At this setting, the thermostat will keep the room temperature at about 7-8 °C. To save energy, simply lower the room temperature at night or at times when nobody is at home. The thermostat can be cleaned with mild detergents such as dishwashing liquid. Do not use scourers, alcohol, solvents or bleaching agents as they can damage the radiator thermostat.
