IT800 Thermostat RF Connections
The IT800 thermostat and WZ600 receiver communicate via Zigbee 3.0 (2.4GHz) communication. They are
pre-paired in the factory and will work locally without internet connection. The thermostat’s battery might
need charging on startup. Please charge for 24 hours immediately upon installation.
To use app control, download the Salus Premium Lite app and follow the IT800 Quick Guide – available at
www.saluscontrols.com (IT800WIFI_QG_V10_WE.pdf)

Good Installation Practice
RF link between receiver and internet router is via WiFi. If the receiver is placed within a cupboard etc, or too far
from the router, WiFi (app) control may be compromised (grey receiver tile). Local control via thermostat should
not be affected.

How do I connect the Salus IT800WIFI to my WiFi router for app control?
Press the RHS pinhole on the receiver for 3 seconds, then follow the instructions in the Salus Premium Lite app. Installation Guide, p. 1
Why is my receiver tile greyed out in the app?
WiFi signal between receiver and router is weak or problematic.
- Check receiver position and move it to a better location.
- Use a WiFi booster between router and receiver.
- Check router firewall settings.
- Verify receiver has correct power and internet router is powered. Installation Guide, p. 1
Can the Salus IT800WIFI work without an internet connection?
Yes. The thermostat and receiver are pre-paired and communicate via Zigbee 3.0, allowing local control without internet. Installation Guide, p. 1
How do I know the Salus IT800WIFI battery needs charging?
E5 Error code indicates low battery. Recharge using the charging dock for 24 hours. Installation Guide, p. 2
