• Page 2: Hotwire thermostat instructions Programming your thermostat will help you set it to come on and off automatically. If you want to simply turn it on and off when required, skip this section. To select every day to be the same, press and hold the Decrease button. The time is now flashing. Select the time you want the heating to come on in the morning. Set the temperature that you want the floor to heat to. The LCD screen will show Program 2 and the time will be flashing. Set the time at which you want the heating to come on in the afternoon or evening. It is essential that the clock time and day are set accurately for programmed events to start on time. This thermostat has the ability to programme each individual day of the week separately. If you do not require the heating in the afternoon/evening, simply set this time to a couple of minutes after the “on” time.
• Page 3: Hotwire thermostat instructions Installation and wiring Change between manual and auto mode The thermostat maintains a constant set temperature manually set by the user. In auto mode, the thermostat executes the preprogrammed schedules. Carefully separate the front half of the thermostat from the back plate. Lock the keypad by pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds. To unlock, repeat the steps above. Conduct a master reset to factory settings by pressing the power button and holding the decrease button. This product should be installed by a qualified electrician.
• Page 4: Hotwire Thermostat Configuration Menu To enter into the setting menu, turn the thermostat off and press the appropriate button. Use the increase and decrease arrows to adjust the sensor selection. This thermostat allows you to choose three different modes: Air Sensing Only, Air & Floor sensing, or Floor Sensing. The default switching differential is 1°C. Air temperature calibration allows for adjustment of the air temperature reading. Floor temperature calibration is available if required. Frost protection prevents room temperature from going below 5°C. You can program either 5 days at once and 2 days separately or a full 7 days. Auto/manual mode selection allows you to choose between automatic and manual operation. The thermostat can be set to display temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.
