• Page 2: Congratulations on your purchase of a Honeywell Wi-Fi touchscreen programmable thermostat. When registered to Honeywell’s Total Connect Comfort Solutions, you can remotely monitor and control the heating and cooling system in your home or business. This thermostat works with common 24 volt systems such as forced air, hydronic, heat pump, oil, gas, and electric. This thermostat contains a Lithium battery which may contain Perchlorate material. Do not place your old thermostat in the trash if it contains mercury in a sealed tube. To avoid possible compressor damage, do not run air conditioner if the outside temperature drops below 50°F (10°C). • Page 4: Setting up your Wi-Fi programmable touchscreen thermostat is easy. It is preprogrammed and ready to go as soon as it is installed and registered. Install your thermostat. Connect it to your home wireless network. Register online for remote access. Before you begin, you may want to watch a brief installation video. You might need the following tools to install this thermostat: No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, small pocket screwdriver, pencil, drill and bits (3/16” for drywall, 7/32” for plaster) (optional), hammer (optional), electrical tape (optional), level (optional). Switch OFF power to your heating/cooling system. To protect your equipment, switch OFF the power to your heating/cooling system at the breaker box or the system switch.
• Page 5: Installing your thermostat Remove old thermostat faceplate and leave wires connected. If you have an older thermostat with a sealed mercury tube, turn to page ii for proper disposal instructions. Take a picture of the wire connections for later reference. If no wire is connected to a terminal labeled C or no C terminal exists on the old thermostat, view the Alternate Wiring videos. C wire is required and is the primary power source for your thermostat. Without a C wire, your thermostat will not power up. Label wires. Do not label by wire color. Use the supplied sticky tags to label each wire as you disconnect it. Remove the old wallplate from the wall after all wires have been labeled and disconnected.
• Page 6: Installing your thermostat Separate Wi-Fi thermostat and its wallplate. On your new thermostat, grasp the finger holds on the top and bottom of the wallplate with one hand and the thermostat (front) with the other hand. Pull pieces apart. Mount wallplate for Wi-Fi thermostat. Mount your new wallplate using screws and anchors included with the thermostat. If necessary, drill 3/16-in holes for drywall. Drill 7/32-in holes for plaster. You may be able to use your existing wall anchors. Hold the wallplate up to the existing anchors to check for alignment.
• Page 7: Installing your thermostat requires a C wire to operate, which brings 24 VAC power to the thermostat. Many older thermostats do not require a C wire. If you don’t have a C wire, look for an unused wire pushed into the wall and connect it to C. Not all systems label the 24 VAC common as C; refer to your system manual for clarification. For conventional heating/cooling systems, refer to page 6. For heat pump systems, see page 7. When wiring the Wi-Fi thermostat, start with the C wire and match the sticky tag on the wire to the terminal labels. Loosen the screw, insert the wire, and then tighten the screw. Verify that the wire is firmly secured. Repeat the wiring steps for all other wires and push any excess wire back into the wall opening. The wiring for your application might differ from the provided instructions.
• Page 8: Installing your thermostat Wiring (heat pump system only) You must have a C wire. Verify wire is firmly secured by gently pulling on wire. Push any excess wire back into the wall opening after all wires are installed. The wiring for your application might be different than the wiring from above. If old thermostat has separate wires on AUX and E, place both wires into the E/AUX terminal. Use this if your wire labels don’t match the terminal labels. You must have a C wire or equivalent. Remove metal jumper connecting R and RC only if you must connect both R and RC. If your old thermostat had both R and RH wires, remove metal jumper.
• Page 9: Installing your thermostat Use this if your wire labels don’t match the terminal labels. You must have a C wire or equivalent. Leave metal jumper between R and RC terminals in place. If your old thermostat had both V and VR wires, check for help. Attach the B wire to the C terminal if another wire is attached. Set System Function 0190 to 0. This is the system monitor. If the monitor finds a problem, you will see a red light. If old thermostat has separate wires on AUX and E, place both wires into the E/AUX terminal. Do not use K terminal. For future use.
• Page 10: Installing your thermostat Insert the coin cell battery (included), observing the correct polarity. A correctly inserted battery will extend about halfway out of the battery slot on the thermostat. This battery maintains time and date during power outages. It does not power the thermostat. Align the thermostat to the wallplate and then snap into place. Verify that the C wire is connected at the thermostat and at the heating/cooling system. Make sure the heating/cooling system door is firmly secured. Switch power back ON for your heating/cooling system at the breaker box or its power switch.
• Page 11: Installing your thermostat Set date and time. Touch or buttons to change displayed time and date. This thermostat will automatically update for daylight saving time. If connected to Wi-Fi and registered to Total Connect Comfort, the current time is updated from the internet. Determine your heating/cooling system type. Heating/cooling system type must be set so that your thermostat operates properly. If you have a traditional system, your thermostat is set up by default to control this system. You MUST change the system type by setting system function 0170. Congratulations! Your thermostat is operational. Test your thermostat.
• Page 12: Connecting to your Wi-Fi network To complete this process, you must have a wireless device connected to your home wireless network. Any of these device types will work: tablet (recommended), laptop (recommended), smartphone. If you get stuck at any point in this procedure, restart the thermostat by removing it from the wallplate, wait for 5 seconds, and snap it back onto the wallplate. Connect to your thermostat. Make sure the thermostat message center displays Wi-Fi Setup. On the wireless device, view the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Connect to the network called NewThermostat_123456. Open your web browser to access the Thermostat Wi-Fi Setup page. Find the name of your home network on this page and select it. Complete the instructions for joining your Wi-Fi network and click on the Connect button.
• Page 13: Connecting to your Wi-Fi network If your Wi-Fi network does not appear in the list on the Thermostat Wi-Fi Setup page, try performing a network rescan by pressing the Rescan button. If you are connecting to a hidden network, enter the network SSID in the textbox, select the encryption type, and click on the Add button. Make sure your thermostat is connected. The message center on your thermostat will display CONNECTING… for up to 30 seconds. Verify that the message center displays CONNECTION SUCCESSFUL, JOINED: [WI-FI NETWORK NAME], or YOU ARE ALMOST DONE. If you see CONNECTION FAILURE or Wi-Fi SETUP, confirm you correctly entered your home network password. Registering your thermostat online requires a Total Connect Comfort account. Open the Total Connect Comfort website to register your thermostat.
• Page 14: Registering your thermostat online Login or create an account. If you have an account, click Login – or – click Create An Account. Check your email for an activation message from My Total Connect Comfort. Follow activation instructions in the email. Register your Wi-Fi thermostat. Use the MAC ID and CRC ID to register this product at mytotalconnectcomfort.com. These IDs are listed on the Thermostat ID Card included in the thermostat package. When the thermostat is successfully registered, the Total Connect Comfort registration screen will display a SUCCESS message. In the thermostat message center you will see: CONGRATULATIONS SETUP COMPLETE!
• Page 15: Registering your thermostat online allows you to control it from anywhere through your laptop, tablet, or smartphone. The Total Connect Comfort free app is available for Apple and Android devices. To set the clock, press CLOCK to display setting arrows. You can adjust the time using the s or t buttons. Press DONE to save and exit or CANCEL to exit without changing the time. The thermostat automatically updates for daylight saving time if observed in your area. All date/time information is stored in the thermostat. If connected to Wi-Fi and registered to Total Connect Comfort, the current time is updated from the internet. To change the current weekday format, refer to “Schedule Options” on page 21.
• Page 16: Setting the fan Press FAN to select fan operation. Press FAN again to select ON or AUTO. The selected option blinks. Press DONE to save setting. ON: Fan is always on. AUTO: Fan runs only when the heating or cooling system is on. Selecting system mode Press SYSTEM to display options. Press SYSTEM again to select an option. You may need to press two or three times to make a selection. Press DONE to save setting. Possible system modes: HEAT, COOL, OFF, AUTO. EM HEAT: Controls auxiliary/emergency heat.
• Page 17: Adjusting program schedules Press SCHED, then EDIT. Screen displays day buttons at top. Press day buttons (MON–SUN) to select days. Press s or t to set Wake time for selected day(s). Press s or t to set Heat and Cool temperature for this time period. Press another period (LEAVE, RETURN, SLEEP) and set time and temperatures for each. Press DONE to save and exit or press CANCEL to exit without saving changes. You can press CANCEL PERIOD to eliminate any unwanted time period. Overriding schedules temporarily On the home screen, press s or t to immediately adjust the temperature. The new setting will be maintained until the time shown under Hold Until. To cancel the temporary setting at any time, press CANCEL or SCHED. Overriding schedules permanently Press HOLD to permanently adjust the temperature. This will turn off the program schedule.
• Page 18: Setting vacation hold allows you to suspend the program schedule while you are away for an extended period. Press s or t to set the temperature. Press s or t to set the time of day you want the schedule to resume on the day you return. Press HOLD twice. Hold Until appears. Press s or t to select the number of days. The selected temperature will be maintained 24 hours a day for the number of days you select. You can press CANCEL (or SCHED) to resume normal schedule. Setting filter reminder intervals alerts you with a message when it is time to replace your filter. Press RESET after changing the filter to restart the timer. To change the reminder interval, press MORE, then EDIT.
• Page 19: Cleaning the screen Press SCREEN to lock the screen for cleaning. The screen will remain locked for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, press DONE to resume normal operation. Do not spray any liquid directly on the thermostat. Unregistering thermostat The message center will scroll UNREGISTERED FROM TOTAL CONNECT for 3 minutes. It will alternate displaying REGISTER AT TOTAL CONNECT, the MAC ID, and the MAC CRC. Disconnecting Wi-Fi If you disconnect the thermostat from your Wi-Fi network: The Message Center will display Wi-Fi DISCONNECTED for 1 minute. Re-connect to a Wi-Fi network by following the steps on page 11. Turning Wi-Fi off You can remove the Wi-Fi SETUP message from the screen. If you want to connect to the Wi-Fi network later, change setting 890 back to 1.
• Page 20: Software updates Honeywell periodically issues updates to the software for this thermostat. The updates occur automatically through your Wi-Fi connection. All your settings are saved, so you will not need to make any changes after the update occurs. Smart Response Technology This feature allows the thermostat to “learn” how long the heating/cooling system takes to reach programmed temperature settings. Compressor protection This feature forces the compressor to wait a few minutes before restarting, to prevent equipment damage.
• Page 21: Auto changeover is used in climates where both air conditioning and heating are utilized on the same day. When set to AUTO, the thermostat automatically selects heating or cooling based on the indoor temperature. Heat and cool settings must be at least 3 degrees apart, and the thermostat will maintain this separation. System setting function 0300 controls Auto changeover. You can change options for various system functions, which depend on the type of system. The functions are designated with four-digit numbers, described on pages 21–23. This thermostat is pre-set for a single-stage heating/cooling system. Setting function 0170 for a heat pump will adjust the default settings. To change settings, press SYSTEM and hold the center blank button until the screen changes. After making changes, press DONE to save and exit.
• Page 22: System setup How do I set my thermostat name? This name will identify the thermostat when you view it remotely. If you register multiple thermostats, give each one a different name. How do I change time and date settings? Year setting (first two digits) Month setting Date setting Program schedule is on (7-day programmable). Program schedule is off. Thermostat cannot be programmed. Note: If thermostat is connected to Wi-Fi and registered, the current time and date is updated from the internet.
• Page 23: System setup How do I set my heating/cooling system type? Heat/cool: Gas, oil or electric heating with central air conditioning. Heat pump: Heat pump without backup or auxiliary heat. Heat only with fan: Gas, oil or electric heat without central air conditioning. Cool only: Central air conditioning only. Heat pump: Heat pump with backup or auxiliary heating. How do I customize my heating/cooling system? Gas or oil heat: Use this setting if you have a gas or oil heating system. Electric heat: Use this setting if you have an electric heating system. Cooling changeover valve: Use this setting if you connected a wire labeled “O” to the O/B terminal. Heating changeover valve: Use this setting if you connected a wire labeled “B” to the O/B terminal. What other functions can I change?
• Page 24: System setup What other functions can I change? Filter change reminder appears after a selected number of days run time. Reminder after 10-day run time (about 1 calendar month). Reminder after 30-day run time (about 3 calendar months). Reminder after 60-day run time (about 6 calendar months). Reminder after 90-day run time (about 9 calendar months). Reminder after 120-day run time (about 1 calendar year). Reminder after 180-day run time (about 18 calendar months). How do I change my Wi-Fi settings? Disconnects thermostat from Wi-Fi and restores original settings (erases customizations).
• Page 25: Frequently asked questions Will my thermostat still work if I lose my Wi-Fi connection? Yes, the thermostat will operate your heating and/or cooling system with or without Wi-Fi. How do I find the password to my router? Contact the manufacturer of the router or check the router documentation. Why am I not seeing my Wi-Fi setup page? You are probably connected only to your router, not to your thermostat. Why isn’t my thermostat connecting to my Wi-Fi router even though it is very close to the thermostat? Verify that the password entered for the Wi-Fi router is correct. Where can I find my MAC ID and MAC CRC codes? The MAC ID and MAC CRC will show in the message center of the thermostat. My thermostat is unable to register to the Total Connect Comfort website. Verify that the thermostat is correctly enrolled on your home Wi-Fi network. I registered on the Total Connect Comfort website but was unable to login using my new account. Check your email and ensure that you received an activation email. I have signed up on Total Connect Comfort website and have not received a confirmation email. Check for the email in your Junk or Deleted folder. Is there a way to extend the signal strength? Most standard routers can be set up to be a repeater.
• Page 26: Troubleshooting If you have difficulty with your thermostat, please try the following suggestions. Most problems can be corrected quickly and easily. Display is blank • Check circuit breaker and reset if necessary. • Make sure power switch at heating and cooling system is on. • Make sure furnace door is closed securely. • Make sure C wire is connected. Cannot change system setting to Cool • Check Function 0170: System Type to make sure it is set to match your heating and cooling equipment. Fan does not turn on when heat is required • Check Function 0180: Heating Fan Control to make sure it is set to match your heating equipment. “Wait” appears on the screen • Compressor protection feature is engaged. Wait 5 minutes for the system to restart safely. Heat pump issues cool air in heat mode, or warm air in cool mode • Check Function 0190: Heat Pump Changeover Valve to make sure it is properly configured for your system. Button on lower right of screen is blank • This button will remain blank unless the furnace filter change reminder is activated. Red light is on • If thermostat is in Emergency Heat mode the red light is normal. • If thermostat is not in Emergency Heat mode, contact a qualified service contractor for repair. Heating or cooling system does not respond • Press SYSTEM to set system to Heat or Cool. • Check circuit breaker and reset if necessary. • Make sure power switch at heating & cooling system is on. • Make sure furnace door is closed securely.
• Page 27: Glossary C wire The “C” or common wire brings 24 VAC power to the thermostat from the heating/cooling system. It is necessary for establishing a Wi-Fi connection to your home network. Heat pump heating/cooling system Heat pumps are used to heat and cool a home. If your old thermostat has a setting for auxiliary or emergency heat, you likely have a heat pump. Conventional heating/cooling system Non–heat pump type systems; these include air handlers, furnaces or boilers that run on natural gas, oil or electricity. Jumper A small piece of wire that connects two terminals together. MAC ID, MAC CRC Alphanumeric codes that uniquely identify your thermostat. QR Code Quick response code. A two-dimensional, machine-readable image that links directly to a website. 1-year limited warranty Honeywell warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship or materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If the product is defective, it can be returned or replaced. This warranty does not cover removal or reinstallation costs. Honeywell’s sole responsibility shall be to repair or replace the product within the terms stated. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Si vous possédez un thermostat plus ancien à tube de mercure scellé, allez à la page 2 pour les instructions de mise au rebut correctes. Prenez une photo des connexions de câblage pour vous y référer plus tard. Le fil C est requis et représente la source d’alimentation principale du thermostat. Sans fil C, votre thermostat ne se mettra pas en marche. N’appliquez pas les étiquettes en fonction des couleurs des fils. Utilisez les étiquettes autocollantes fournies pour étiqueter chaque fil lorsque vous le déconnectez. Étiquetez les fils conformément aux désignations de bornes de l’ancien thermostat. Retirez l’ancienne plaque murale du mur après avoir étiqueté et déconnecté tous les fils.
• Page 33: Installation de votre thermostat Séparez le thermostat Wi-Fi de sa plaque murale. Sur votre nouveau thermostat, saisissez les alvéoles du haut et du bas de la plaque murale d’une main. Montez votre nouvelle plaque murale à l’aide des vis et ancres fournies avec le thermostat. Percez des trous de 3/16 po (4,8 mm) pour les cloisons sèches. Percez des trous de 7/32 po (5,6 mm) pour le plâtre. Vous pourrez peut-être utiliser les ancres murales déjà installées. Tenez la plaque murale sur les ancres déjà installées pour vérifier l’alignement.

Desserrez la vis, insérez le fil dans le bord intérieur de la borne et serrez la vis. Vérifiez que le fil est bien attaché en tirant délicatement dessus. Si l’ancien thermostat est doté de fils distincts aux bornes AUX et E, reliez les deux fils à la borne E/AUX. Câblage alternatif (système conventionnel) Utilisez ceci si vos étiquettes de fils ne correspondent pas aux références de bornes.

Il s’agit du moniteur du système. Si le moniteur découvre un problème, vous verrez un témoin rouge allumé. Une pile bien insérée dépasse de moitié de la fente de la batterie sur le thermostat, permettant un retrait facile. Cette pile permet de conserver l’heure et la date durant les coupures d’électricité. Fixez le thermostat à la plaque murale. Alignez le thermostat sur la plaque murale puis emboîtez-le. Mettez le système de chauffage/refroidissement en marche. Vérifiez que le fil C est branché sur le thermostat et le système de chauffage/refroidissement. Assurez-vous que la porte du système de chauffage/refroidissement est bien fermée. Rétablissez l’alimentation du système de chauffage/refroidissement au niveau du disjoncteur ou de l’interrupteur d’alimentation.
• Page 38: Installation de votre thermostat Réglez la date et l’heure. Toucher les boutons pour modifier l’heure et la date affichées. Ce thermostat se mettra à jour automatiquement à l’heure d’été/d’hiver. Si le thermostat est connecté au Wi-Fi, l’heure courante est mise à jour à partir de l’Internet. Déterminez le type de votre système de chauffage/refroidissement. Le type de système doit être réglé pour que le thermostat fonctionne correctement. Si vous avez un système traditionnel, votre thermostat est réglé par défaut pour réguler ce système. Vous DEVEZ changer le type de système en réglant la fonction du système sur 0170. Félicitations! Votre thermostat est maintenant prêt à fonctionner. Testez votre thermostat.
• Page 39: Connexion à votre réseau Wi-Fi Pour exécuter cette étape, vous devez avoir un appareil sans fil connecté à votre réseau sans fil. Tous ces types d’appareils sont valables : tablette, ordinateur portable, téléphone intelligent. Si vous êtes bloqué à tout moment dans cette procédure, redémarrez le thermostat en le retirant de la plaque murale. Connectez votre thermostat. Assurez-vous que le centre des messages du thermostat affiche Wi-Fi SETUP. Sur votre appareil sans fil, consultez la liste des réseaux sans fil disponibles. Connectez-vous au réseau appelé NewThermostat_123456. Ouvrez votre navigateur Web pour accéder à la page de configuration Wi-Fi du thermostat. Trouvez le nom de votre réseau domestique sur cette page et sélectionnez-le. Suivez les instructions d’enregistrement à votre réseau Wi-Fi et cliquez sur le bouton Connect.
• Page 40: Connexion à votre réseau Wi-Fi Si votre réseau Wi-Fi n’apparaît pas dans la liste de la page de configuration Wi-Fi du thermostat, essayez de scanner le réseau à nouveau en appuyant sur le bouton Rescan. Si vous êtes connecté à un réseau invisible, entrez le SSID du réseau dans la boîte de dialogue, sélectionnez le type d’encryptage à partir du menu déroulant, et cliquez sur le bouton Add. Vérifiez si votre thermostat est connecté. Le centre des messages de votre thermostat affiche maintenant CONNECTING… pour 30 secondes maximum. Vérifiez que le centre des messages affiche l’un des messages suivants : CONNECTION SUCCESSFUL, JOINED: [NOM DU RÉSEAU WI-FI], YOU ARE ALMOST DONE. Si vous voyez l’un de ces messages, passez à la page 12. Si CONNECTION FAILURE ou Wi-Fi SETUP s’affiche, confirmez que vous avez correctement entré le mot de passe de votre réseau domestique. Enregistrement de votre thermostat en ligne Pour visualiser et régler votre thermostat Wi-Fi à distance, vous devez posséder un compte Total Connect Comfort. Ouvrez le site web Total Connect Comfort. Visionnez la vidéo d’enregistrement du thermostat Wi-Fi à wifithermostat.com/videos.

Appuyez sur les boutons (MON–SUN) pour sélectionner les jours. Appuyez sur s ou t pour régler l’heure de réveil pour le(s) jour(s) sélectionné(s). Appuyez sur s ou t pour régler la température de chauffage et de refroidissement pour cette période de temps. Appuyez sur DONE (terminé) pour enregistrer et quitter ou sur CANCEL (annuler) pour quitter sans enregistrer les modifications. Pour annuler toute période non souhaitée, appuyez sur CANCEL PERIOD (annuler la période). Dérogation temporaire de la programmation Sur l’écran d’accueil, appuyez sur s ou t pour ajuster immédiatement la température. Réglez l’heure jusqu’à laquelle vous voulez maintenir la température. Le nouveau réglage sera maintenu jusqu’à l’heure affichée sous Hold Until (maintenir jusqu’à). Pour annuler ce réglage temporaire à tout moment, appuyez sur CANCEL (annuler) ou SCHED (programme). Dérogation permanente de la programmation Appuyez sur HOLD (maintien) pour régler la température de façon permanente. La température sélectionnée sera maintenue 24 heures sur 24 jusqu’à la modification manuelle suivante.
• Page 45: Réglage du maintien pendant les vacances Utilisez cette fonction pour suspendre un horaire de programmation lorsque vous vous absentez pendant une période prolongée. Appuyez sur s ou t pour régler la température. Appuyez sur s ou t pour régler l’heure à laquelle vous désirez que la programmation reprenne le jour de votre retour. Appuyez deux fois sur HOLD (maintien). La température sélectionnée sera maintenue 24 heures sur 24 pendant le nombre de jours sélectionné. Lorsque le nombre de jours sélectionné s’est écoulé, l’horaire de programmation précédent est remis en vigueur à l’heure déterminée. Remarque : vous pouvez appuyer sur CANCEL (annuler) pour revenir à la programmation normale. Réglage des intervalles de rappel de filtre S’il a été activé au cours de l’installation, le rappel de filtre affiche un message au-dessus de l’heure lorsqu’il est temps de remplacer le filtre. Appuyez sur RESET après le remplacement du filtre pour relancer la minuterie. Pour modifier l’intervalle de rappel : appuyez sur MORE puis sur EDIT. Appuyez sur s ou t pour sélectionner l’intervalle désiré (en jours), puis appuyez sur DONE. Remarque : La fonction de configuration système 0500 régit l’intervalle de remplacement du filtre.
• Page 46: Nettoyage de l’écran Appuyez sur SCREEN pour verrouiller l’écran en vue du nettoyage. L’écran restera verrouillé 30 secondes pour que vous puissiez le nettoyer sans modifier des réglages. Après 30 secondes, appuyez sur DONE pour reprendre le fonctionnement normal. Ne pulvérisez aucun liquide directement sur le thermostat. Pulvérisez les liquides sur un chiffon, puis utilisez le chiffon humide pour nettoyer l’écran. Annulation de l’enregistrement du thermostat La fenêtre de messages fera défiler le message Inside UNREGISTERED FROM TOTAL CONNECT pendant 3 minutes. Déconnexion Wi-Fi Si vous déconnectez le thermostat de votre réseau Wi-Fi, la fenêtre de messages affichera Wi-Fi DISCONNECTED pendant 1 minute. Reconnectez-vous à un réseau Wi-Fi en suivant les étapes de la page 11. Désactivation de la Wi-Fi Si vous ne prévoyez pas contrôler le thermostat à distance, vous pouvez supprimer le message Wi-Fi SETUP de l’écran.
• Page 47: Mises à jour du logiciel Honeywell introduit régulièrement des mises à jour du logiciel pour ce thermostat. Les mises à jour s’effectuent automatiquement par votre connexion Wi-Fi. Tous vos réglages sont sauvegardés; vous n’avez donc pas besoin de procéder à des changements après la mise à jour. Pendant que la mise à jour a lieu, l’écran de votre thermostat devient vierge et le centre des messages affiche UPDATING (mise à jour) et le pourcentage de la mise à jour effectuée. Remarque : Si le thermostat n’est pas connecté au Wi-Fi et est enregistré au Total Connect Comfort, vous n’obtiendrez pas de mises à jour automatiques. Technologie Smart Response Celle-ci permet au thermostat « d’apprendre » combien de temps il faut à votre système de chauffage/refroidissement pour atteindre le réglage de température programmé. Le message « Recovery » La fonction de configuration système (reprise) s’affiche lorsque le système est activé avant une période de temps programmée. Protection du compresseur Cette fonction force le compresseur à attendre quelques minutes avant un redémarrage, pour éviter d’endommager l’équipement. Pendant la durée d’attente, le message « Wait » (attendre) s’affiche à l’écran.
• Page 48: Commutation automatique Celle-ci est utilisée dans les climats où le conditionnement d’air et le chauffage sont utilisés le même jour. Lorsque le système est réglé sur AUTO, le thermostat sélectionne automatiquement le chauffage ou le refroidissement en fonction de la température intérieure. L’écart entre les réglages de chauffage et de refroidissement doit être d’au moins 3 degrés. La fonction de configuration système 0300 contrôle la commutation automatique. Fonctions et options de configuration Vous pouvez modifier des options pour plusieurs fonctions du système. Les fonctions disponibles dépendent de votre type de système. Ce thermostat est préréglé pour un système de chauffage/refroidissement à étage unique. La fonction de configuration 0170 pour une thermopompe ajustera les réglages par défaut. Lorsque toutes les modifications ont été effectuées, appuyez sur DONE pour enregistrer et quitter.

• Page 52: Questions fréquemment posées Mon thermostat fonctionnera-t-il toujours si je perds ma connexion Wi-Fi? Oui, le thermostat actionnera votre système de chauffage et/ou de refroidissement avec ou sans Wi-Fi. Comment puis-je trouver le mot de passe de mon routeur? Contactez le fabricant du routeur. Pourquoi ne vois-je pas ma page de configuration Wi-Fi? Vous êtes probablement uniquement connecté à votre routeur, et non pas à votre thermostat. Essayez de vous reconnecter au thermostat. Pourquoi mon thermostat ne se connecte-t-il pas à mon routeur Wi-Fi même si celui-ci est très proche du thermostat? Vérifiez si le mot de passe saisi pour le routeur Wi-Fi est correct. Où puis-je trouver mes codes MAC ID et MAC CRC? Les codes MAC ID et MAC CRC seront affichés dans la fenêtre de messages du thermostat. Il est impossible d’enregistrer mon thermostat sur le site Total Connect Comfort. Vérifiez si le thermostat est correctement inscrit dans le réseau Wi-Fi domestique. Je suis enregistré sur le site Total Connect Comfort mais je n’ai pas pu ouvrir de session en utilisant mon nouveau compte. Consultez votre messagerie et vérifiez si vous avez reçu le message d’activation. Je me suis enregistré sur le site Total Connect Comfort et n’ai pas reçu de message de confirmation. Vérifiez si le message ne se trouve pas dans le dossier des spams ou des messages effacés. Y a-t-il un moyen d’accroître la force du signal? La plupart des routeurs peuvent être configurés comme répéteur.
• Page 53: Dépannage En cas de difficultés avec le thermostat, essayer les suggestions suivantes. La plupart des problèmes peuvent être réglés rapidement et facilement. Rien n’apparaît à l’écran. Vérifiez le disjoncteur et réinitialisez-le si nécessaire. Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur de marche-arrêt du système de chauffage et de refroidissement est sur marche. Impossible de changer le réglage du système. Vérifiez la fonction 0170 : Type de système pour vous assurer qu’elle soit configurée en fonction de votre équipement.
