Why won't my Tio TX1000 respond to heating or cooling commands?

Check that the thermostat is powered on. The power indicator should show red. If it's off, press the power button.

Verify power supply is connected and active
Confirm the device is paired to Wi-Fi, shown by the Wi-Fi symbol
Check that you're in Manual or Program mode, not a temporary override Instruction Manual, p. 1

How do I set a schedule on my Tio TX1000?

Enter Program mode and use the app to set up to six time periods per day across Mon-Fri, Sat, and Sun.

Open the Smart Life app and select Program mode from the landing page
Set your desired time periods and temperatures for each day type
Optionally rename the time periods for clarity
Press save in the top left corner Instruction Manual, p. 2

What do I need to do to connect the thermostat to Wi-Fi for the first time?

Have your phone near the router. Open Smart Life app, hold your phone near the thermostat, and follow the pairing prompts.

Turn on the thermostat. It will automatically search for a device to pair
Open Smart Life app on your phone
Hold phone near the thermostat until it appears on screen
Press 'Go to add' and select your Wi-Fi router and enter the password
Wait for the device to pair and confirm connection in the app Instruction Manual, p. 2

Can I control my Tio TX1000 remotely from outside my home?

Yes. The Smart Life app lets you control the thermostat from anywhere in the world once it's paired to your Wi-Fi and app account. Instruction Manual, p. 2
