Match each labeled wire to the corresponding letter terminal on the thermostat. If you have trouble inserting wires, press the terminal push button next to that terminal.

Can I use the Honeywell RTH6360 without batteries connected to power?

What's the difference between Heat and Em Heat modes on the Honeywell RTH6360?

Heat controls only the heating system. Em Heat, available only for heat pumps with auxiliary heat, controls Auxiliary Heat without using the compressor. Installation Guide, p. 10

After replacing the air filter, touch the dismiss button on the thermostat screen to reset the timer.
