1. DESCRIPTION OF DEVICE
Wireless Euroster 2006TXRX thermostat is used to control room temperature simply and
efficiently without a laborious installation of wires between the thermostat and the heating
device.
It is used to control the operation of the CH boiler and other components of a heating system.
It controls electrical equipment, floor heating, and air-conditioning systems. The thermostat
operates with two temperature levels: comfort (day
) temperature and economical (night
)
temperature. Each temperature may be modified within the range of 5...35 °C. The thermostat
is programmable in seven-day cycles with an accuracy of 0.5 hour, therefore it enables
48 temperature changes in 24 hours. It is possible to program different time ranges for each
day of the week.

Summary of Contents
- Page 1: EUROSTER 2006TXRX is a wireless, programmable thermostat for heating and air conditioning devices. This manual is intended for v8 01.2020 version of the thermostat. The thermostat controls room temperature without the need for wiring between the thermostat and the heating device. It operates with two temperature levels: comfort and economical, which can be modified within the range of 5...35 °C. The thermostat is programmable in seven-day cycles with an accuracy of 0.5 hours, allowing for 48 temperature changes in 24 hours. It does not require laying cable connections between the thermostat and the controlled device. User-friendly design enables easy control of temperature in living and utility rooms. Bidirectional communication ensures high operational reliability and immunity to interference. The thermostat features a legible, backlit LCD and can cooperate with a maximum of 6 receivers. It includes numerous useful functions such as temporary temperature setting and constant temperature.
- Page 2: Thermostat visible elements include various buttons and indicators. The HOLD button switches the thermostat into manual mode, maintaining the set temperature. Pressing the economical temperature button displays the current economical temperature. Pressing the comfort temperature button displays the current comfort temperature. There are multi-purpose setting buttons for increasing and decreasing temperature. A temporary change of temperature is indicated by the MANUAL sign. An icon indicates the activation and operation of the controlled device. Current time and weekday are displayed, with 1 for Monday and 7 for Sunday. The current temperature is indicated on the display. Icons indicate the periods of thermostat operation with comfort and economical temperature settings.
- Page 3: EUROSTER 2006TXRX - Installation and operation manual Visible elements of RX receiver include a switch for continuous operation, a switch for entering settings, and signaling LEDs. Safety rules emphasize the importance of reading the manual before installation to avoid hazards and property damage. Installation should only be performed by qualified technicians, ensuring the heating/cooling system is de-energized. Electric connections and cables must conform to all requirements and be adequate for the applied loads. The thermostat should not be installed in humid environments and must be protected from water and liquids. Units showing signs of mechanical damage should not be installed, as the thermostat is not a safety component. The device is not intended for use by children, and any operational issues should be directed to a technician or the manufacturer. The thermostat is designed for indoor mounting and can be placed anywhere without connected cables. For efficient operation, the thermostat should be located approximately 1.5m above the floor, away from direct sunlight and heating/cooling devices. It should also be placed in areas with good air circulation and away from moisture to ensure longevity.
- Page 4: EUROSTER 2006TXRX - Installation and operation manual Opening the thermostat requires a cross-head screwdriver to loosen the housing locking screw. Selecting thermostat operating mode involves jumper position J4 for heating or cooling. Jumper position J1 allows the selection of sensor: floor or room sensor. The thermostat is controlled by the floor sensor when J1 is set to floor. Batteries should be placed in the thermostat while observing the correct polarity. It is recommended to replace the batteries with new alkaline batteries before each heating season. Use only alkaline AA batteries to power the thermostat; do not use rechargeable batteries. Setting the clock involves using the knob in the START position and pressing buttons to select the weekday. The correct time can be set by pushing the button and using buttons to adjust hours and minutes. After five seconds, the setting is stored, and the device restores operation.
- Page 5: Modification of temperature levels allows for comfort and economical settings. To change the preset comfort temperature, press the appropriate button. To change the preset economical temperature, press the corresponding button. After five seconds, the setting is stored, and the device resumes operation. Setting hysteresis involves pressing and holding specific buttons to select the required value. Temperature readout correction can be adjusted within a range of -2°C to +2°C. To set programs for individual weekdays, select the desired weekday on the knob. The display changes to facilitate the selection of the desired period. Pressing the buttons allows programming of temperature for a period of 0.5 hours. After programming all weekdays, return the knob to the START position to activate the settings.
- Page 6: Restoring factory settings involves pressing the HOLD button and RESET simultaneously. Default temperatures for heating mode are set at 20.4°C and 16.2°C, while air-conditioning mode defaults to 22.0°C. Default time ranges for Monday to Friday include various temperature settings from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. To switch off the program and set a constant operating temperature, press the HOLD button. The thermostat maintains a constant temperature set by the user, regardless of the programs. Frost protection setting can be activated by holding the HOLD button for 5 seconds. The frost protection function remains active until Monday at 0:00 a.m. Temporary temperature changes can be made without modifying stored programs. The thermostat automatically restores operation according to the stored program after a temporary change. To restore operation according to the program, turn the knob and return it to the START position.
- Page 7: Floor sensor connection involves checking the J1 jumper position, connecting the sensor to specific terminals, and resetting the thermostat. The thermostat operates based on floor sensor indications with a controlled temperature range up to 45°C. Establishing a connection between the 2006TX thermostat and RX receiver requires pairing, which is unique for each device. The pairing process is not affected by power outages or battery changes. The pairing procedure includes pressing the reset button, removing the thermostat housing, and pressing the transmitter button multiple times to establish a connection. For multiple receivers, the same pairing steps apply, ensuring that each receiver is detected and connected in sequence. Pairing mode is limited to 10 minutes after connecting the receiver to power or resetting the thermostat. Factory-established thermostat-receiver pairs can be re-paired if necessary. Selection of operating mode is done by pressing a button while inserting the receiver into the power socket, with an LED indicating the selected mode.
- Page 8: EUROSTER 2006TXRX - Installation and operation manual Green – normally open mode (COM – NO) is the most commonly used operation mode. Red – normally closed mode (COM – NC) opens the output cables when active. Caution! Normally open mode (COM – NO) is preset by default. After being connected to the power socket, the receiver signals the transmitter operating mode. Each change to thermostat status is executed by the receiver instantly. Information on the strength of the radio signal is communicated with the reception signal. If communication between the thermostat and the receiver is interrupted, the receiver switches into frost protection mode. In case of system failure, it is possible to switch the system on manually. The receiver signaling table outlines various functions and their corresponding signals. The following diagrams are simplified and do not cover all elements necessary for correct installation.
