Caution! Refrigerating compressors are
pressurised machines and therefore
require particulary careful and meticu-
lous handling.

•Der Umgang ist nur durch Fachperso-
nal zulässig.
•Only qualified staff are allowed to
handle refrigerating compressors.
•Local safety regulations, accident
prevention regulations, technical rules
and other valid specifications must be
observed.
•The maximum tolerable operating
overpressure may not be exceeded
(not even for test purposes).

seur, il faut ouvrir les vannes d’arrêt au
refoulement ainsi que le robinet d’arrêt
à l’aspiration.
•Avant la mise en service, vérifier
si tous les éléments montés par
l’utilisateur sont installés correctement
et reliés au compresseur en résistant
bien à la pression (par ex. tuyauteries,
bouchons, écrous-raccords, éléments
remplacés etc.).

•Before starting the compressor, the
pressure shut-off valve and suction
shut-off valve are to be opened.
•Before starting up, check that all
components mounted by the user
have been properly mounted and are
connected pressure-tight with the
compressor (e.g. pipelines, bungs,
union nuts, replaced parts, etc.)
•When starting up, do not start the
compressor in a vacuum. Only operate
the compressor when the whole
system has been filled.
•Vor Inbetriebnahme prüfen, ob alle
vom Anwender montierten Bauteile
fachgerecht angebracht und druckfest
mit dem Verdichter verbunden sind
(z.B. Rohrleitungen, Stopfen, Über-
wurfmuttern, ersetzte Bauteile usw.).
•Bei Inbetriebnahme Verdichter nicht
im Vakuum starten. Verdichter nur bei
befüllter Anlage betreiben.
•Lors de la mise en service, ne pas
démarrer le compresseur dans le
vide, ne le faire fonctionner que si
l’installation est remplie.

Généralités
Les présentes instructions de montage décrivent
des opérations de travail importantes pour équiper
ultérieurement le compresseurs semi-hermétiques
d‘un thermostat de protection thermique (palpeur
thermistor).

wesentliche Arbeitsschritte zur Nachrüstung
halbhermetischer Verdichter mit einem Wärme-
schutzthermostat (Kaltleiter-Fühler)
These installation instructions describe the main
procedure involved in retrofitting a thermal pro-
tection thermostat (PTC sensor) to semi-hermetic
compressors.

Can I start the compressor with the Danfoss INT69 Thermal while the system is in a vacuum?
No. The compressor must not be started in a vacuum. Operate it only when the entire system has been filled. Instruction Manual, p. 1
What is the torque specification for the cylinder cover screw?
The cylinder cover screw must be tightened with torque M=75 Nm. Instruction Manual, p. 2
How do I route the cable on the Danfoss INT69?
Attach the connection cable to the cable holder under the cylinder cover screw using the cable clip.
- Position the cable holder with cable clip under the cylinder cover screw head.
- Hook the connection cable into the cable clip. Instruction Manual, p. 2
