• Page 2: Getting to know your thermostat The thermostat home screen displays all the information about the thermostat. After 60 seconds of inactivity, a standby screen is displayed with the time and temperature. Simply touch the screen to wake and return to the home screen. Touch to edit schedule. Swipe to view weather, outdoor or floor temperature, heat to setting, cool to setting, and relative humidity. Touch to adjust relative humidity settings. Touch to adjust fan settings. Touch to change mode of operation between heat, cool, auto, and off. The info button provides a description of the setting.
• Page 3: Settings menu allows access to various configuration options. Press the button to enter the settings menu. Program schedule enables toggling between home and away modes to save energy. Display options include setting temperature units, background, language, and viewing energy use. Time is automatically set when connected to the Internet, but can also be manually set. Setup WiFi and register to mobile and web app for remote access. Fan settings include options for on and auto modes. Setup menu provides access to advanced settings for sensors and relays. Set minimum and maximum temperatures and configure humidity alerts. Adjust settings for humidifiers and dehumidifiers, as well as ventilator run time.
• Page 4: Programming a schedule allows you to set specific temperatures for different times of the day. The schedule includes options for wake, leave, return, and sleep times. Heating and cooling temperatures can be adjusted for each time period. Early Start anticipates the time required to heat or cool a room and starts early. You can create a new schedule or return to the home screen. To follow the schedule, set it to On; to maintain the same temperature, set it to Off. Select skip if you don't want a temperature change at a specific time. You can set the schedule start time and specify heating and cooling temperatures. Incorrectly setting the time and date manually may prevent the thermostat from communicating to the mobile app. The thermostat includes a step by step tutorial to setup the WiFi connection. Agree to Terms of Use. Turn on WiFi. Enter wireless network name. It must support WPA2 security encryption. Enter WiFi password. Enter ZIP or postal code. This determines your location for weather information. Select if the time is set automatically from the Internet or manually.
