sinope TH1400NP Non Programmable Low Voltage Thermostat Installation Guide Overview

Summary of Contents

  • Page 1: Install your thermostat by unlocking and lifting the thermostat cover. Mark and drill the appropriate fastening holes using the installation template. Insert each wire into its terminal and screw firmly, following the connection layouts. Use the provided screws and wall anchors to fix the thermostat base on the wall. Power up the thermostat and replace back and lock the thermostat cover. The thermostat provides an auxiliary heating output that can act as a second stage of heating. The auxiliary output activates the secondary heating source if the room temperature is too far from the setpoint. Both outputs can control different types of heating load and can be configured in the user settings. For control applications in floor mode or with floor limit, a floor sensor can be connected. To adjust the temperature, press the appropriate buttons, and the requested temperature will blink to confirm the new setpoint.
  • Page 2: Parameters that can be controlled from the device include cycle length, temperature format, control mode, and backlight control. The thermostat features two temperature control modes: A mode for ambient temperature regulation and F mode for floor temperature regulation. To access the menu, lower the setpoint to its minimum and hold the button for 10 seconds. The maximum floor temperature limit is only visible in A mode, while the minimum floor temperature limit is also only visible in A mode. The circulator pump's anti-seizure feature activates the main output during 1 minute every 24 hours to prevent the pump from seizing. Operating voltage is 24 Vac with a maximum load of 1 Amp. The troubleshooting guide includes information on the E1F code, which indicates that the thermostat is in Floor mode without a connected sensor. The setpoint range is from 5 °C to 36 °C (41 °F to 97 °F), and the display range is from 0 °C to 70 °C (32 °F to 99 °F). The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for a 3-year period under normal use. The product is compatible with various heating systems, including baseboard heaters, fan-forced convectors, and hydronic heating systems.
