Wireless Thermostat TP-98TX

This thermostat can replace  

a

TEMPERATURE SETTING  

thermostat and is designed to be used with electric, gas or oil  

heating system. The easy to read display shows the current room  

Temperature and temperature adjustment is very simple.  

The TP-98TX wireless thermostat is compatible with Jablotron’s  

wireless receivers UC-222, UC-241 and UC-242. Radio  

communication provides high reliability and allows for very easy  

installation as well.  

In the normal operation mode, the thermostat shows the room  

temperature. To set a desired temperature:

or decrease the temperature setting. The unit will return to  

normal operation mode automatically after 10 seconds with out  

any button being pushed..

The programmed temperature range is from 5°C to 35°C.  

The temperature span between the turn ON and OFF is 1°C. For  

example, if the control temperature setting is 20°C, \the heater will  

operate when the room temperature drops to 19.5°C and will be turn  

off when the temperature rises to 20.5°C. When the thermostat is on,  

the symbol Heater On is indicated.

When the temperature is above 40°C ‘HI’ will be shown on the  

LCD and ‘LO’ will be shown when temperature falls below 0°C.  

When the voltage of the battery is low, the LCD will turn off. In this  

case, the batteries should be changed as soon as possible.

INSTALLATION  

The TP-98TX should be mounted in a dry indoor location. This  

thermostat has been designed for easy installation. Choose a  

mounting location about 1.5 meters above the floor, in an area with  

good air circulation. Avoid places with drafts, dead air spots and  

radiant heat from the sun or appliances. It should not be installed  

close to any metal structure or other objects that may obstruct  

radio signal transmissions.

Remove completely the front housing of the thermostat. (using  

a screwdriver)  

Drill two holes and insert the plastic dowels.  

Attach the thermostat to the wall with the two screws.

Note: Dispose of batteries safely depending on the type of the  

batteries and local regulation. Although this product does not contain  

any harmful materials we suggest you to return the product to the  

dealer or directly to the producer after usage.  

ENROLLING THE TP-98TX INTO THE RECEIVER

Slide the battery cover upward to open it.  

Remove the batteries from the thermostat if there are any.  

Enter the enrolling mode of the receiver unit (UC-222, UC-241,  

UC-242) – See corresponding instruction manual  

Place the batteries into the thermostat. Ensure the correct  

polarity of the batteries.

The receiver will confirm successful enrollment  

Push and slide the cover down to close it.  

Note: Each UC-222 receiver can work with only one thermostat.  

If the receiver unit was used with any other device before, reset its  

memory before enrolling a thermostat.

• Page 2: Bezdrátový termostat TP-98TX může nahradit většinu běžných termostatů a je určen pro použití s elektrickým, plynovým nebo naftovým vytápěním. Displej zobrazuje teplotu v místnosti a pohodlně lze zadat požadovanou teplotu. Teplotu lze nastavit od 5°C do 35°C. Termostat reaguje na změnu teploty +/- 0,5 °C. Pokud teplota v místnosti vystoupí nad 40°C, na displeji se objeví HI, případně LO pokud teplota klesne pod 0°C. Vybije-li se baterie, zmizí údaje z displeje. Přístroj je určen pouze k montáži ve vnitřním, suchém prostředí. Zvolte místo k montáži ve výšce asi 1,5 m nad podlahou v prostoru s dobrou přirozenou cirkulací vzduchu. Pokud byl přijímač dříve používán s jiným zařízením, proveďte před přiúčením termostatu RESET přijímače. Poznámka: Po použití baterie (akumulátor) nevhazujte do koše, ale odevzdejte do sběrného místa.
