Can the Ensto ECO10BTW-J work with sensors other than the default floor sensor?

Yes. The thermostat uses a 47kOhm NTC floor sensor by default, but you can connect another type of sensor and change the sensor type in the Ensto Heat Control application under Settings / Sensor type. Instruction Manual, p. 19

What do the icons and indicators on the Ensto ECO10BTW-J display tell you?

Green LED indicates thermostat is on with heating off. Red LED indicates heating is on. Blue LED indicates temperature change or external control is active. Red and blue LED blinking alternately means the floor sensor is defective or missing. Instruction Manual, p. 19
