Claims under the warranty must be made in writing and within 30 days of discovering a defect. The warranty period lasts for 5 years from the date of installation. Danfoss may provide a replacement product or repair the defective product at its discretion. The warranty does not cover installation or handling costs related to defective products. Products covered by the warranty include Danfoss Eco™, Danfoss Link™ CC Central Controller, and others. Claims must include proof of installation by a professional installer. If the product is found not defective, Danfoss may return it at the owner's cost and risk.

This warranty does not apply to defects which occur under conditions of operation other than the conditions stipulated in the technical specifications and the instructions. Defects caused by failure to implement all software bug fixes or software error fixes are not covered. Defects caused by software bugs or errors that significantly impede the use of the product are not covered, provided Danfoss has released a fix within a reasonable time. Improper use, faulty installation, or faulty maintenance will result in defects that are not covered. If Danfoss investigates or repairs a defect not covered by this warranty, the time and materials may be invoiced. Disputes regarding this extended warranty must be handled by the Court in Sønderborg under Danish law.
