Description  
Second Generation Safety Thermostat  
The BAckermatic BMST Thermostat is an ideal solution for  
retrofit to existing installations as it is possible to bring  
your old system up to the new standard by simply  
changing the termostat. Alternatively it can be  
incorporated into any of our Immersion range (Backer type  
VC) to enable the Immersion heaters to meet the new  
standard.  
Our new range of BMST thermostats incorporate a  
secondary safety cut-out, which is independent of the main  
thermostat. The new thermostats have have a seond set of  
contacts which open and limit the water temperature to 98  
degrees centigrade should the primary thermostat fail. The  
second cut-out is non self resetting.
