HyperStat 7C-HS-C2W-X Wall Mount Thermostat Installation Guide Overview

Summary of Contents

  • Page 1: Installation guide for HyperStat (7C-HS-C2W-X). HyperStat is a wall-mount thermostat designed to blend into commercial spaces with a contemporary feel. Package contents include the HyperStat device and mounting accessories. Power source is 24V AC/DC input with a peak consumption of 1.4VA maximum. Operating temperature range is 32 to 122°F (0°C to 50°C) with humidity levels of 20-85% non-condensing. Communication features include a sensor bus for daisy chained sensor communication and a 4-wire interface for RS 485 communication. Bluetooth BLE 4.1 is available for commissioning and communication with wireless sensors. Onboard sensors include CO2, VOC, occupancy, light, sound, and optional PM2.5 and PM10 sensors. Detection ranges and accuracies for various sensors are specified, including CO2 sensor accuracy of +/-30ppm. Inputs consist of 2 x 0-10V analog voltage inputs with 2% detection accuracy and a touch slider for temperature control.
  • Page 2: Outputs include 6 relays rated for 24V DC/1A and 3 analog outputs (0-10V or 4-20mA). The device features a 2.8 240x320 pixel TFT display. Precautions highlight the importance of wiring devices with correct polarity to avoid damage. It is essential to never connect or disconnect wiring with the power on. Powered wires should not touch circuit boards, and installation must comply with all state and local codes. The front should not be assembled to the back plate while powered on. The HyperStat requires seven days to auto-calibrate after installation. Mechanical stress on the CO2 sensor should be avoided for accurate readings. Mounting components include the HyperStat interface, main unit, rubber covers, gang box, Allen head screws, PHP screws, and backplate.
  • Page 3: HyperStat Interface - Conventional Place the HyperStat Interface-Conventional and the back plate on the gang box. Fix these two items to the wall gang box with the PHP screws provided. Align the HyperStat main to lock onto the HyperStat Interface-Conventional. Use the Allen head screws to make this entire setup tamper-proof. Rubber covers 1 and 2 must be fixed to cover the programming pins. Connect the antenna to the device and rotate it clockwise to lock it in place. If the HyperStat is mounted on the wall, hold the front plastic and pull it away from the wall. Insert a flat head screwdriver in the notch to separate the front and back plastic.
