2. WORK PRINCIPLE OF DEVICE
teleRelays-2D has two-way communication with the devices with which it is paired. The
device continuously listens to any message that arrives via the LoRa interface, and in case
of receiving data, the device checks the message and if it determines that the message is not
intended for it or is a message from a device with which it is not paired, the data will not be
processed (except in cases where an unpaired device sends a pairing request). If the
message intended for the device came from the device with which teleRelay is paired, then
the message is processed. In other words, it cannot happenn that the device responds to a
command or message from another device with which it is not paired.
The set of commands that the device can receive is diverse. The device can receive request
for registration/deregistration, to turn ON a certain relay/s, to turn OFF a certain relay/s, to
turn ON/OFF all relays at the same time, etc.
The reposnse of the device to received and processed commands is minimal and is equal to
the latency of radio transmission (several tens of ms), which the user cannot even notice in
reality.
2.1 Registration/deregistration mode
As already stated, the device can receive registration/deregistration requests from
certain devices from the group that is allowed to register to teleRelay devices. The device
keeps data about registered devices in its memory, and if a new registration request arrives,
the device will write a new record with data about that device into the memory (a maximum
of 20 devices are allowed to be registered to teleRelay devices). Likewise, if the device
receives a request for deregistration, the data about the device, if it was previously
registered, will be deleted from the memory.
The device is in the registration/deregistration mode 30 seconds after the initial power-on,
after this time the device ignores all requests for registration/deregistration, and it is
necessary to turn the device OFF and ON again in order for the device to enter the
registration/deregistration mode.
Indicator that device received registration/deregistration is the switching ON and OFF relay
output 1, and is explained below:
•
a single ON/OFF of the output is an indicator of successful registration request
