  • Page 1: HY703RF-WIFI thermostat user manual HY series thermostats are suitable for temperature control of electric floor heating systems, water floor heating systems, and gas boiler heating systems. There are two WIFI distribution methods available. Receiver distribution network requires a long press of a key to enter WIFI distribution network. Thermostat distribution network involves pairing the thermostat and receiver. Function definitions include water heating, electric heating, and boiler heating. Product features include up to 0.5°C accuracy for precise temperature control. Child lock design prevents misuse by children. Classic holiday mode helps save energy while on vacation. External sensor temperature can be queried by pressing a key. Temporary manual mode allows setting a temperature until the programming mode is activated.
  • Page 2: Product specifications include thermostat operating voltage of 2*AA (Alkaline) and sensor type NTC(10k)1%. The setting temperature range is 5~35℃ (default). Batteries or USB adapter (Type-C USB 5V/1A) should have batteries removed when USB power is in use. Display resolution is ±0.5℃. Receiver operating voltage is 90-240V AC 50/60Hz with a load current of 16A. Icon function descriptions include programming mode, manual mode, and holiday mode. The external sensor temperature value is displayed, along with a low battery icon and child lock indicator. An icon indicates when heating is stopped and a flashing display signals high temperature protection. RF communication status is shown, with normal communication indicated by a steady icon and abnormal by blinking. WIFI connection status is indicated, with a steady icon for normal connection and blinking for EZ network distribution mode.
  • Page 3: Key function description includes various operations for the device. Short press to power on/off. Setting key allows switching between manual mode and programming mode. In power on state, long press for 3-5 seconds to enter programming parameter setting. In power off state, long press for 3-5 seconds to enter advanced option A. Long press on the increase key queries external sensor temperature. In programming mode, press briefly to enter temporary manual mode. Long press on the decrease key locks/unlocks the thermostat. In power on state, long press to enter time setting. In power off state, press and hold to enter advanced option B. In power off state, press and hold for 3-5 seconds to enter WIFI distribution network mode.

In the advanced options choose model of you need, power on state, long press key for 3-5 seconds to enter the programming parameter setting. After entering the setting, short press key to switch the period hour, period minute, period temperature setting options. Press or to adjust the corresponding parameters. After the setting is completed, keep the interface for 10 seconds, then the parameters will be saved automatically and exit. In power off state, press and hold for 3-5 seconds to enter the advanced option A setting. Short press to switch the option to be set, press or to adjust the parameters. Temperature calibration start/stop working temperature difference setting -9℃ ~ 9℃. Children lock setting: 0 for half lock, 1 for full lock. Weekly programming selection setting temperature minimum limit 1~10℃.
  • Page 5: Maximum limit is set to 1~10 °C. Low temperature protection setting can be canceled with A8. High temperature protection for external sensor is set to 20~70 °C. High temperature protection can be canceled with A9. High temperature protection temperature difference setting is available. Window function triggers temperature is set to 1~9 °C. Open window temperature detection setting range is 5~25 °C. Window function running time is adjustable from 5~60 minutes. Advanced Option A parameters can be restored to default by pressing and holding a key. To enter Advanced Option B, hold specific keys for 3-5 seconds in power off state.
  • Page 6: Thermostat and receiver pairing is initiated by continuously clicking the thermostat. The display indicates successful pairing when the thermostat sends an IP to the receiver. Sensor type selection includes internal and external sensors. The minute interval of RF transmission can be set from 0-30 minutes. The backlight function can be turned on or off. Using a USB adapter power supply is recommended for settings ≤ 20 minutes to prolong battery life. High temperature protection is set at 45°C with a return difference setting of 2°C. If the internal or external temperature sensor fails, the display will show E1 or E2, and heating will stop. Thermostat data RF communication occurs every 20 minutes under normal conditions. The power indicator on the receiver is green when powered on and will flash during abnormal wireless communication.
  • Page 7: RF signal indicator (orange) indicates power on and pairing status. Load/fault indicator (red) shows normal operation and fault conditions. Fault indications include thermostat and receiver not paired, wireless signal loss, and external sensor alarm. WIFI signal indicator (blue) provides information on WIFI data reception and distribution modes. Wiring and installation instructions must be read carefully to avoid damage or danger.
