- Page 2: Hotwire thermostat instructions Programming your thermostat will help you set it to come on and off automatically. If you want to simply turn it on and off when required, skip this section. Press to select the day you wish to programme. To select every day to be the same, simply press and hold the Decrease button. The time is now flashing. Select the time you want the heating to come on in the morning. Set the temperature that you want the floor to heat to. The LCD screen will show Program 2 and the time will be flashing. Use Increase and Decrease buttons to adjust the time you wish the heating to switch off in the morning. Set the time at which you want the heating to come on in the afternoon or evening. It is essential that the clock time and day are set accurately if you require your programmed events to start on time.
- Page 3: Hotwire thermostat instructions Installation and wiring Change between manual and auto mode The thermostat maintains a constant set temperature manually set by the user. In auto mode, the thermostat executes the preprogrammed schedules. Carefully separate the front half of the thermostat from the back plate. To lock the keypad, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. To unlock, repeat the steps above. Conduct a master reset to factory settings. This product should be installed by a qualified electrician.
- Page 4: Hotwire thermostat technical information To enter the setting menu, turn the thermostat off and follow the steps provided. The thermostat allows for three different modes: Air Sensing Only, Air & Floor sensing, and Floor Sensing. The default switching differential is 1°C, which can be adjusted between 1°C and 10°C. Air temperature calibration allows for adjustments in 1°C increments. Floor temperature calibration is also available for adjustments. Temperature readout options include showing air temperature, floor temperature, or both. Maximum floor temperature settings range from 20°C to 40°C. Frost protection prevents room temperature from dropping below 5°C. Programming options include 5+2 day programming or 7-day programming.
