• Page 2: Hotwire thermostat instructions Programming your thermostat automatically is detailed in this section. To set the same heating schedule for every day, press All Days. Select the time you want the heating to come on in the morning. Set the temperature that you want the floor to heat to. The thermostat will switch off in the morning at the specified time. Set a minimum temperature if required, usually recommended at 5. Set the time for heating to come on in the afternoon or evening. The clock time and day must be set accurately for programmed events to start on time. This thermostat can program each individual day separately or for the entire week at once. Press to store and exit after setting the time and day.
• Page 3: Hotwire thermostat instructions Manual mode In manual mode, the thermostat maintains a constant set temperature manually set by the user. To increase the temperature, press the degrees button and then use the + or - buttons. Carefully separate the front half of the thermostat from the back plate by unscrewing the small screw. Lock the keypad by pressing and holding the bottom left corner of the screen for 5 seconds. To unlock, repeat the same action. To conduct a master reset to factory settings, press the power button to turn the thermostat off. Press and hold Menu for 5 seconds, then move to menu 17 and hold the down button for 5 seconds. Connect the green wire from the element to the house earth. This product should be installed by a qualified electrician.
• Page 4: Hotwire thermostat Configuration menu To enter the setting menu, turn the thermostat off and press MENU. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the sensor selection. This thermostat allows you to choose three different modes: Air Sensing Only, Air & Floor sensing, or Floor Sensing. The default switching differential is 1°C. Air temperature calibration is available to recalibrate the air temperature if required. Maximum floor temperature is set to protect the floor surface, with a default of 40°C. You can select the temperature format to show in either degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit. Frost protection prevents room temperature from going below 5°C. The thermostat allows for 5+2 day programming or 7-day programming options.
