To change these settings, refer to ‘Adjusting program schedules’ in the manual. The holiday mode feature helps save energy during extended absences. Activating holiday mode can be done through the Honeywell Home App. The thermostat indicates when holiday mode is active. Enabling the geofence schedule in the Honeywell Home App allows intelligent control of heating based on your location. The active geofence schedule is indicated on the screen, showing home, away, or sleep status. For more information on configuring the geofence schedule, refer to the ‘Create New Schedule’ menu in the Honeywell Home App. Learn how smart geofencing can fit into your busy lifestyle.
  • Page 11: Heating optimisation functions aim to save energy while making you comfortable. Optimum Start learns how long it takes your system to reach the desired temperature and turns on the heating or cooling system earlier. Optimum Stop saves energy by switching off a little earlier than the normal programmed time. Delayed Start saves energy by slightly delaying the start of heating based on the difference between the programmed and actual room temperature. Your T6/T6R Smart Thermostat has a lock function to restrict access to the interface. The lock function has two levels: partial and full. Partial access allows changing the setpoint temperature only. Full access restricts all access to the thermostat interface. A PIN is provided to unlock the thermostat when the lock function is activated. Take note of the PIN for unlocking the thermostat.
