INSTALLATION GUIDE

APPLICATION

Use the THP2400A1019 wall cover assembly with the Lyric™ thermostat.

Use the THP2400A1019 wall cover assembly to cover marks on the wall or to mount the thermostat to a 2 in. x 4 in.

electrical box.

The THP2400A1019 wall cover assembly contains one wall cover, one bracket, two #6-32 x 5/8" flat head screws and

two #6-32 x 3/8" pan head screws. See Fig. 1.

Can I install the Honeywell Lyric THP2400A1019 on a horizontal 2 inch by 4 inch electrical box?

Yes. The THP2400A1019 wall cover assembly mounts to both vertical and horizontal 2 in. x 4 in. electrical boxes using the included bracket. Installation Guide, p. 3

How do I mount the Honeywell Lyric THP2400A1019 wall cover directly to drywall?

Secure the wall cover to the wall using wall anchors and mounting screws.

Pull wires through the wire hole on the wall cover.
Position the wall cover with the arrow pointing up and mark the two mounting holes with a pencil.
Drill two 3/16-in. holes and tap the wall anchors in until the collar touches the wall.
Position the wall plate on the wall cover and snap the 4 mounting posts together.
Pull the wires through the assembly and position it on the wall anchors.
Insert the mounting screws and tighten. Installation Guide, p. 2

Where is the wire hole on the Honeywell Lyric wall cover?

The wire hole is located on the wall cover itself and also on the wall plate assembly, allowing wires to pass through during installation. Installation Guide, p. 2
