APPLICATION  

Use the THP2400A1019 wall cover assembly with the Lyric™ thermostat.  

Use the THP2400A1019 wall cover assembly to cover marks on the wall or to mount the thermostat to a 2 in. x 4 in.  

electrical box.  

The THP2400A1019 wall cover assembly contains one wall cover, one bracket, two #6-32 x 5/8" flat head screws and  

two #6-32 x 3/8" pan head screws. See Fig. 1.

• Page 2: LYRIC INSTALLATION CAUTION Electrical hazard can cause electrical shock or equipment damage. Disconnect power before beginning installation. Mount wall cover directly to wall. Pull the wires through the wire hole on the wall cover. Position the wall cover on the wall with the arrow pointing up. Use a pencil to mark the mounting holes. For drywall, drill two 3/16-in. holes in the wall as marked. For harder surfaces such as plaster, drill two 7/32-in. holes in the wall as marked. Insert the mounting screws into the wall anchors and check leveling if desired.
• Page 3: Lyric installation involves mounting the wall cover to a vertical 2 in. x 4 in. electrical box. Position the bracket on the electrical box with the arrow pointing up and insert two #6-32 x 5/8 flat head screws. Level the bracket and tighten the flat head screws. Position the wall plate on the wall cover using the 4 mounting posts and snap them together. Pull the wires through the wire hole on the wall cover/wall plate assembly. Insert two #6-32 x 3/8 pan head screws and check leveling if desired before tightening. The installation includes components such as the electrical box, bracket, wall cover, mounting holes, and screws. Refer to Fig. 3 for the proper mounting of the bracket, wall cover, wall plate, and thermostat. Ensure all components are securely fastened for proper operation. Follow the steps carefully for a successful installation.
• Page 4: Mount wall cover to a horizontal 2 in. X 4 in. electrical box. Position the bracket on the electrical box with the arrow pointing up. Insert two #6-32 X 5/8 flat head screws. Level the bracket and tighten the flat head screws. Position the wall plate on the wall cover using the 4 mounting posts and snap them together. Pull the wires through the wire hole on the wall cover/wall plate assembly. Insert two #6-32 X 3/8 pan head screws. Check leveling, if desired, and tighten the pan head screws. Fig. 4 illustrates the mounting of the bracket, wall cover, wall plate, and thermostat to a horizontal 2 in. X 4 in. electrical box. Automation and Control Solutions.

The support should be placed on the electrical box with the arrow pointing upwards, using two #6-32 X 5/8 flat head screws. Level the support and tighten the screws. Position the wall plate on the wall cover using four mounting rods and snap them together. Pass the wires through the opening of the wall plate/cover assembly and place the assembly on the support. Insert two #6-32 X 3/8 cylindrical head screws. Check for levelness and tighten the screws if necessary. Refer to Fig. 3 for installation guidance on a 2 in x 4 in electrical box in a vertical position.
