Summary of Contents
- Page 1: STC-8080A thermostat quick start guide. The STC-8080A is a defrosting thermostat with one sensor and two output relays. It connects and controls the refrigeration and defrosting unit. An alarm activates when the temperature exceeds the preset point. Wiring diagram is provided. The unit does not output AC electricity. All live and null wires must be wired to each port. Jumper wires can be used conveniently.
- Page 2: Function section includes temperature settings for refrigeration starts and stops. Calibration is defined as real minus measured values. Defrosting cycle and interval time are specified. Defrosting lasting time is outlined. Over-temperature triggers an alarm if it exceeds a certain threshold. Configuration section details the aimed temperature range from F1 to F2. Refrigeration starts when the temperature is greater than or equal to F1. Refrigeration ends when the temperature is less than or equal to F2. Instructions are provided for updating settings using specific keys. Steps for adjusting values include holding keys and changing values as needed.
- Page 3: Repeat operation from Step 2 / 3 / 4 to adjust other parameters. After configuring all values, press the key to save data and back to normal monitor status. The modified value will be saved automatically and back to normal status if without operation in 30 seconds. Hold the key for 3 seconds to start the forced-defrosting mode; do it again to stop defrosting. This unit controls the defrosting only by the time, but not by the evaporator temperature like STC-9100.
