Installation Made Easy
The Ion Gray Smart Thermostat is a 24VAC control
designed to make installation and commissioning
fast and easy. Right out of the box, you’ll find most
of what you need for installation:

POWER REQUIREMENTS
STAGGERED, TOOL-FREE CONNECTIONS
The Smart Thermostat requires 24VAC
connections to the Rh/Rc terminals and
the C terminal for proper operation. It will not
operate without these connections.
A pre-installed shunt jumper connects the
Rh and Rc terminals, but can be removed for
applications using two 24VAC transformers.
Details matter, and Comfortmaker knows
that modest design tweaks can go a long
way towards making a technician’s day
a little better. The Smart Thermostat’s
staggered, tool-free wiring terminals speed
up the process so you can more quickly
move on to setup and startup.
