  • Page 3: Desired room temperature The thermostat can accept the setting of 3 different temperature levels: T3 = Comfort, T2 = Economy, T1 = frost protection. Working modes Pressing the ESC-MODE button, it is possible to select the following working modes: AUTO, MANUAL, HOLIDAY, PARTY, OFF, DOMESTIC HOT WATER (DHW – SUMMER). Function RF pairing Press for 5 seconds the ESC-MODE button to enter RF coupling mode to couple the thermostat with an RF receiver. Function ADVANCED Only in AUTO mode, pressing the FORWARD button enables or disables the ADVANCED function to advance to the next scheduled heating program event. Function RESET When an alarm code is displayed, it is possible to reset the alarm by pressing the RESET button. Function ONE HOUR BOOSTER Only in AUTO mode, pressing the BACK button enables or disables the ONE HOUR BOOSTER function, which switches ON the heating at T3 for 1 hour. Function semi-automatic filling of the system The display shows rIE flashing when the system needs to be filled, and automatic filling can be activated by pressing the ESC-MODE button for 5 seconds.
  • Page 4: Function pairing in RF of others devices of BeSMART system. It is possible to pair up to 8 devices (thermostats or boiler receiver) to the WiFi Box. To enable the RF pairing function, press and hold for 5 secs the transparent LED button on the WiFi Box or the boiler receiver. The thermostat is factory set to work in ON/OFF. In case of OT-Bus connection available (wired or wireless) the thermostat automatically detects the BUS communication. To reset to the original factory set configuration in ON/OFF, it is necessary to remove and replace the batteries. Main alarms and description include thermostat temperature sensor damaged, radio frequency communication missing, and OT-Bus communication missing. Batteries must be replaced. Functionality will be impaired if batteries become depleted. Signal of real flame presence on the boiler if OT-Bus connection or just heating request if ON/OFF connection. Heating mode enabled and domestic hot water mode enabled if OT-Bus connection available with the boiler.
  • Page 5: Working mode The thermostat will follow the heating program that’s been set or selected via the programming menu. The heating/cooling request is enabled or disabled according to the current room temperatures, the desired room temperature, and the programmed timing. There are 3 selectable temperature levels and the minimum selectable programming periods are 30-minute segments. The thermostat is in manual mode and reacts according to the room temperature and desired room temperature. The thermostat is working in manual mode according to the room temperature and desired room temperature, not according to the programmed heating timing. This working mode is active for a number of days selected on the main display page. The thermostat is working in domestic hot water mode only if the OT-Bus connection is available. The tap icon flashes when the boiler is delivering domestic hot water. Thermostat working mode is OFF (no heating/cooling request). If all the thermostats connected are OFF, the boiler is completely OFF mode.
  • Page 6: Select the desired icon or programming menu. Set the hours and day. Press again the SET-PROG to enter the lower menu and proceed to set. Hours and day are automatically set if WiFi Box is connected to an internet network. From the app, it is possible to synchronize the hours and the day of the thermostat with your tablet or smartphone time. Select with the buttons FORWARD or BACK the desired value and with the UP and DOWN buttons select the values. Press the SET-PROG button to enter and return to the programming menu, press ESC-MODE to escape from the programming menu or wait 5 seconds to auto exit. Set the temperature of domestic hot water when OT-Bus connection is available between WiFi Box and the boiler. They are shown in sequence the following info: tSEt, tFLO, trEt, tdH, tFLU, tESt. Reading sensors/boiler settings when OT-Bus connection is available. InFO includes instantaneous percentage of modulation of boiler fan, instantaneous domestic hot water flow rate, hours worked in high condensation mode, and central heating system pressure.
  • Page 7: Programming menu allows selection of desired values for room temperatures T1, T2, and T3. Use FORWARD and BACK buttons to navigate and UP and DOWN buttons to select values. Press SET-PROG to enter the programming menu and ESC-MODE to exit. Individual temperature values can be changed when the respective ‘T’ value is active. Select segments of hours to modify and set desired temperature levels. Programming heating/cooling time can be set for different periods. Select heating or cooling mode using UP and DOWN buttons. In cooling mode, requests are managed via ON/OFF if connected to the boiler. A technical menu is available only to service personnel. Set the password for the technical menu using the UP and DOWN buttons.
