• Page 3: - Using a ¼ inch nut driver or slotted head screwdriver, remove the 3 screws from the splash pad cover. - Remove the splash pad from the Amana PTAC unit.
• Page 4: Press and hold the red pairing button for 5 seconds, then release the button. The blue LED light will flash slowly. This action puts the PTAC unit into RF pairing mode. The unit will remain in RF pairing mode for 90 seconds.
• Page 5: Remove the mounting plate of the Amana DS01(x) thermostat. Insert the 2 provided AA batteries. Press and release the white pairing button.
• Page 6: The thermostat display will respond with 00 once it pairs to the Amana PTAC unit. Confirm this by pressing the MODE button on the thermostat. The unit will respond to the mode change if paired. Once pairing is confirmed, place the wall thermostat on the mounting plate. Reinstall the splash pad and replace the Amana PTAC inside front cover.
